Great vid, just got two of these. Perfect combo of spin and control while still maintaining enough power to attack. If you play with a western grip, this racquet’s pretty awesome. ✌️
Hello , I am currently playing with the Babolat Pure Aero 2019 (300g), I love the power and the lift, I love the features but I would like a slightly more weight in the neck while keeping the same advantages (power and lift) ), since you are testing quite a few rackets. Other models would be of interest to me but I know them less well ... - HEAH EXTREME TOUR (305g) Wilson Clash Tour (310g), Babolat Pure Aero VS (305g). Which one seems to you the closest to my wishes (power / lift / handling). Thank you in advance
Do you think the extreme pro (315 g) would solve those problems you mentioned about this racket being a bit too light? I'm super curious about the pro. Btw I love your channel guys, keep it up!
Friend, how can I make this racket a more powerful and stable racket? Obviously adding weight, the swingweight is low in my opinion, I feel like the air slows down the racket. But at the same time I want stability and swing speed in the head extreme tour. Adding a lot of weight at 12 o'clock starts to vibrate a lot, even with an anti-vibrator. If I put six grams at 12 o'clock, how much counterweight should I put on the grip? Or rather, what could I do to achieve what I mentioned I'm looking for in the racket? I would appreciate if you can help me
Right now I have a pair of Gravity Tours and DR98s in my bag. Love the feel of the Gravity, maybe a little less flex on the hoop would be better. Hate that it’s very sluggish through the air. As for the DR98, love how whippy it is and the tight 16x19 pattern. I think it’s a little too stiff on the hoop and I get some wrist tenderness. You can see where I’m going, I need something in between. Not sure if you think this Extreme Tour fits the bill or if you can think of a better option?
I moved from a customized Gravity Tour (more head light) to the Extreme tour. I got them with 290 SW unstrung and added a total of 2g at 3&9. Boy this baby swings fast compared to the Gravity. Similar plushness at contact but much more whippy without being fluttery. Control and stability are a touch higher on the Gravity but spin, power and especially manouverability is way better in the Extreme. Control is impressive too and as Karu says it is quite controlled and more low powered in feel at average swing speeds but when you go for your shots it creates massive spin and pop. Really addictive as you feel like Andrey Rublev when putting away winners. To me this racquet is the new modern Radical Pro .
Just for info, I was playing with the Babolat Pure Strike 98 16x19 2nd Gen. Due to arm pain issues I swichted to this Head Extreme Tour. It's a good racket but beware, it was WAY less power and a much LOWER launch angle than the Strike. It's more like a Prestige than an Extreme, and the string pattern is most closed-dense 16x19 I've ever seen. So it is way more demanding, it doesn't make it easy to hit winners, and I feel at my level (4.5) it's no really helping me. I think it's a racket for more advanced players, otherwise the low power and low launch angle makes it difficult to use (specially on defence).
What tension and string setup would you recommend? I’m currently using a hybrid string with 58 mains 56 crosses on advice from a friend. However I don’t know much about strings or tension, anything you’d recommend trying out ?
Would you recommend this racquet to an intermediate player ? Or is too underpowered (what I've heard from some other reviews) and so a good fit only for advanced players that have really big swings?
Hi. I was playing on a Gravity mp then a clash 98 which made le play a great tennis but without enough feel. So now I m looking to the blade 16/19v7 for more precision but I fear to lose some spin or easyness. Do you think I should go to the extreme tour which seems to be nearer to the clash 98 ? Vcore 98 could have been an answer but really stiffer.
Kari, Just wondering what you’ve done to customize your Speed Pro? Not nearly on your level, but I feel like the racket can get pushed around against bigger hitters. Maybe it’s just me! I’ve added a leather grip, want a little more mass, but maintain the maneuverability of the racket. Thanks, and appreciate all your great content.
It definitely needs weight. Mine is balanced like an older yonex I used to love. But I'd advice countering the leather grip weight with some tape on the head at 9-3 position. Start with a few grams and work your way up
Nice review! You had good videos. This one has very similar spec (beam width, weight) as Radical MP 2021. Which one do you think is a more stable racket? I am playing pro staff 97 and want to switch to a easy swinging and comfortable racket.
I ended up getting an extreme tour as I like the grey-yellow color, also I am single backhanded and I like players like musetti. It took me 2 hours to adapt to swinging a lighter racket (compared to Prostaff 97 315g). Once I mastered the throwing action I had good power and spin. The string does matter as I tried Head Lynx Tour string the first time and the string bed was stiff and I needed a damper to get a clean feel. I tried my friend’s extreme tour nite with Yonex poly tour pro string and I felt more touch and comfort.
Hey there, nice review again. Did you prefer the extreme tour, the ezone 98 or the New vcore 98? I've had the extreme tour, thought it was very comfortable and easy to use, just missed the easy power on serve of the ezone 98. Regards from Belgium.
Actually, I thought the Instinct is the most powerful line from Head - it is the stiffest. The Extreme has good power but its biggest strength is spin and lots of it.
@@j0sh4tran The MicroGEL Instinct has less power because it has a denser string pattern - 18 x 19 - as opposed to the stiffer newer models that have a more open 16 x 19 pattern.
My Tennis HQ Sweet! Placed my order!! Hey not sure if you ever saw the RF practice in Dubai some years ago where he and Pouille were playing a practice set and RF was mic’d up and it was interesting to hear him talk thru his decisions and tactics. It would great content if you and the boys did something similar. Just a thought!
Hi! as always great content! Do you think this tour version is more oriented to control but at the same time gives you a lot of spin, but with proper customization it would benefit in some way to the flat hitters ?? And also, did you tested the racquet with some lead tape? Thanks! All the best from Chile
Which one is better for me "extreme tour" or "radical MP" Right now i use "radical pro"...yes....PRO My errors in tennis game/warmup are 1. Sometimes ball goes behind/past me because racket heavy to swing. 2. Hitting balls which go long (out) 3. Cannot maintain long rally in warmup. 4. Backhand is too much flat. (I would like more topspin) 5. Ace and volleying has made my game a bit lazy. Would like to have a consistent forehand and backhand.
Hi, the timing of this couldn’t be better. I’m actually looking for a racquet that wont hurt my arm (coming from a pure aero). Looking for a racquet that is soft, but still has power, control and feel. And I see that you have the 2020 360+ Speed which I’m eyeing also. Could you share your thoughts abt this racquet vs the speed before I make a decision. Many thanks.
I play with the 2018 version of the speed, customized frame. But I tried both the 2020 version of it and the new extreme. Personally, in stock form I liked the new extreme more than the speed. It was a very good racket overall, highly recommend it
Anothet good rev:) How do you manage to test them, doesn t this make you a problem on tour:) when I was on the tour, it was very bad for my game to even look at other sticks:D
Karue Sell strange considering there’s an 11 points difference in swing-weight between both but anyways thanks and great job with the channel , that’s some high level content 👍💪
To be fair, it’s not too bad with the yellow grip. Trouble is, the grip is the bit that gets covered up or changed the most. Lesson not to rely on the grip as a substantial part of the colour-way!
Be great to have a comparison between the Extreme and the Prestige lineup. Awesome video.
Great vid, just got two of these. Perfect combo of spin and control while still maintaining enough power to attack. If you play with a western grip, this racquet’s pretty awesome. ✌️
What string do u use, and how was this racket on volley?

Hi. Can you briefly compare the tour, mp and the pro? Which did you prefere? Plus if can compare the prefered extreme and the new mp radical?
Whould you prefer this racket or the ezone 98(305)?
I would luv to know the customized spec of your old speed pro, how much lead and where did u add :)

Which would you bring to a match, Extreme Tour or Radical MP?
What would you recommend between the Extreme tour and the Yonex Vcore Pro 97D given that you liked both?
Is the spin on 97D good enough?
Nice review and impressive hitting! How does it compare to the Vcore 98 and Ezone 98 you showed in the video?
We plan on getting a video out in the coming weeks comparing them 😉

Like to know about this as well. Also, on spec, extreme tour is almost the same as ezone 98. What differences do they have?

Sweet idea. Will try to get that done next time we play a set!
Demoing the extreme tour, ezone 98(2022) and vcore 95(2021), I would say the extreme tour is kind of the middle ground between those two
Now I have a Babolat pure aereo but it has too much power for my game, do you think I could switch to to this racket?
Nice video!
Yes. This is a great option for control. Highly recommend it

I think flat hitters could enjoy this racket with the right customization, adding more weight
Whats the right customization for flat hitters?
Must try the new Babolat pure aero VS!!
how this compare with the babolat pure strike 18x20?
hello good night, comparing an extreme tour x speed 360+ mp, which one gave you more spin?
I have both. Speed MP generates more spin due to the 100 head. However, enough spin from the ET in my opinion. I have now switched to the ET.
How does this compare to the 2021 Vcore 98?
What is that gray string you use?

Yes that's what I plan on doing soon!
have you played with tf 40 or xtc 305 (technifibre) or rs 315? How does it compare against those?
I have not
Hi there! How would you compare this raquet to the new yonex vcore 98 in term of access to topspin, manoeuvrability, confort and forgiveness?
How if the new head extreme compare with head gravity?
Haven't played with the gravity in a while but I like the extreme more. Gravity was a bit muted for my liking, extreme has more feel
do u recommend more that one or vcore 98
No not really
Do u like this racket or the radical 360 pro?
Haven’t tried the radical pro. But I really liked the new extreme

For a stiffer poly in a fairly stiff frame yes that is getting up there to where it would be a little harsh for us mortals.
Paint job is awful.
