Most of the time yes. If you don't it won't have enough pressure to seal, so have your air hose ready.

Just curious, when you got the tire back on with the either do you have to add more air to the tire?
Yes you usually have to add some air pretty quick so have your hose ready to go before you pop it back on

We used to have our 6row strip till and planter hooked together. It worked great!

I feel ya, I try to pick 8rows with a 6 row picker on the regular. Go back and look at the thumbnail pic on our video from last year. Video says picking the last 6 rows, count them. Don't tell Jim 😂

Hey Jeff I will be coming down to Destin the first weekend of October but I would leave a day early if I could come by an meet you an the crew . I use to farm up here in western Kentucky but but since I had cancer an 2 heart attacks I have had to retire from farming an sell out but I would love to meet you an the crew if you wouldn't mind brother . Just wanted to know how far you are from Florals down on the Alabama's Florida line if you don't mind.

Does everyone around there use 3pt planters? Around here you never see one like that. Is that used because of your soil conditions? I have lots of questions lol. Is it hard on the tractors 3pt?
Are you talking about a 3 point hitch planter? If so, yes everyone in our are plants with a 3pt planter.
@@FieldRows Yes, 3 point hitch planters. and thank you for the reply. I've never seen a planter like that even for sale around here. We use Kinze lift and twisters and everyone has tires on their planters, pull behind. It's just something different for us but normal for you all. Makes these videos all the more interesting

Why don’t you guys do a strip/plant rig?
Before we went 12row we had a 6 row set linked together. We use our strip till to out telone on our peanut and cotton dirt so if we linked together we would only be able to plant with that rig.
Could run a 6 row for peanuts and a 12 row strip/plant rig for cotton
Can you hook two buggies together 🤔
