Love tribute to Ashling, fair play to her dad and sister getting up there to play, don't know how they did it. Rest in peace angel. God bless you all xxx

This is not the real Fleadh. It is a Glastonbury in all but name. It is a creation of Fleadh tv and made with money. And money destroys The real Fleadh is the three days of competition, the worndefull outdoor sessions that were the envy of the world. These outdoor sessions have themselves been replaced by buskers again by open of boxes for money. The Fleadh has taken the wrong road . And what happens when TV decides to pull out ?

Times move on,music is ment to evolve to reflect the times and people.we may not all like it but its a fact of life and thats its magic.

People looking for money has nothing do with it. Buskers always did that, there are still plenty of outdoor sessions. Everything else I agree with. TV won’t pull out, it’s a win-win situation.

@@matthewoconnor5838 Times do move on but this isnt the music moving on. It’s pure commercialism. Also, it’s like the state broadcasters(RTE)fleadh now. CCE sold out a long time ago, it’s all about the gig rigs now.

It's a sad indictment on something that was unique raw and had no equals. But is now just another festival. The holycan days of 40 years of the Fleadh can be seen in my book "Fawcetts Fleadh".
