It’s just Harry is not moving at all. He’s too nervous. There’s only so much she can do. She tells him every-time what he needs to work on in rehearsals.
She is a beautiful dancer but she literally just danced around him. I rewatched and Harry does all of about 5 steps and is just constantly lifting her.. good job Rylee for distracting everyone from Harrys lack of movement.
I can understand your frustrations, as someone who’s watched her on DWTS juniors in the past, I really enjoyed watching what she can choreograph now as an adult when before it was her sister who was choreographing it. Given that this is her first season as pro, we should give her some grace with the celebrity contestant that she is given. With the advice that she got from her sister, I’m pretty sure she was just as surprised as us when there was no troupe this season. Maybe she wanted to start as troupe then work her way up. That’s kind of why I am hoping that they do an all star season and she is a pro with her partner being her DWTS juniors celebrity Miles Brown. That way we can see what she is like as a choreographer given with a celebrity with a bit of dance experience.
@@YJSBMMAMRAthey’re literally all given the celebs who aren’t expected to win as first time pros, it’s kinda like they have to work their way up to the celebs that are capable of going all the way in a season. She will eventually get better partners it’s her first season literally chill out

I think she can choreograph but she probably isn’t making the routine so hard because he can’t do anything she probably tries but he just can’t keep up or do any of the steps. That’s prob why she is always dancing circles around him. Wish they gave her a better partner becaus I know she will be judged so much from her first season bc she is Harry’s partner
Rylee, in the nicest way possible, you need to teach him to DANCE, not just lift you. This dance was supposed to be about him but it was all about her 😭

It´s a type of dance, that we need to see more emotions in move. So their lifts? I his is a thing that is much wanted here. It's nice and pleasant and I don't see anything wrong with it.

That would have been so pretty too! I would have loved to see it slowed down for contemporary.
It needs to come from the pro to change the pace of the music. Derek has done so in the past by changing the tempo of a song when he was a pro. This is more in pace of a Jazz number than a Contemporary, since Rylee did not change the tempo of the song. So, the show just should have given him Jazz instead of Contemporary.
But ultimately, it's on the pro for not changing the pace of the song to help out the celebrity and making sure it fits the style of dance that is assigned.
This awful dance didn't deserve 6's. 5's or 4's would have been more appropriate. Harry knows he can always rely on the TikTok Special Task Force to save him even if he was essentially like a tree trunk which Rylee swirled around.
Couldn’t agree more!! & they are definitely using this “relationship” as leverage to stay on the show. Guarantee they have no feelings toward each other in real life.

For real, Mauricio and Barry are each old enough to be his dad and they’re more mobile than him; Harry could never pull off the level of Mauricio’s Contemporary or Barry’s Paso Doble.
All of their dances looks the same. They dance in the same area barely uses the floor. It’s all so boring and similar to the next one.
I found this dance disappointing. Rylee did all the work, Harry needs more work; all he do just standing there, no movements at all. This is with out of doubt: the worst contemporary performance I ever see.
Not only that but it is now the lowest-scoring Contemporary in the history of DWTS! No contestant has ever gotten straight 6s for Contemporary, it’s usually a very easy dance to score at least 8s and they got ALL 6s 🙄
I can't believe he is still in the competition. He doesn't even get better every week. All he does is walk and walk, he's stiff and lets Rylee do all the work for him. STOP VOTING FOR HIM!! He doesn't know how to dance at all. This isn't a popularity contest, it's a dancing competition. Walking will not let you get the trophy! Period. 🙄

He still barely dancing for me, feels like every week Rylee just dances around him while he lifts her and smiles. Think he should gone home over Mira, but he has the cute face and chemistry with Rylee
I feel that this show is not just a dance competition but a popularity competition.. viewers' votes are also taken into consideration.. you mentioned Harry and Riley's chemistry and I think that's one reason the production team is keeping them in the show while some of the other couples who dance better are being sent home early :") as a fellow dancer and someone who likes watching dance shows to learn their good and bad parts, the scoring and elimination can be a little difficult to watch😅
@@frsjoan sadly life is just one big popularity contest but often those that are most popular are least talented and don't deserve their popularity its all based on superficial and shallow things I personally just want to enjoy the dancing and see the best dancers compete learn grow and WIN!

I think you have to realize she may have started out w more choreography for him but if he can’t pick it up in the allotted time then she has to tone it back in order to complete the dance. We don’t know what goes on behind the scenes with choreo necessarily
I think she needs to go the same route as Lindsey. Lindsey got hired as a pro at just 18 also, right on the heals of her time on SYTYCD. After her 1st season she was dropped down to being a back up dancer for 2 yrs/4 seasons. She said, even though it was tough to have that happen, she was grateful because she just wasn't experienced enough yet with live TV, creating weekly choreography and all the pressure of the show. Even though Rilee was a "pro" on DWTS juniors a few yrs ago, all she had to do was dance, Lindsey was their coach and created all the choreography. Rilee is normally a much better dancer than what we've seen this season. I think she just needs a little time without as much pressure to ease into it and then come back as a pro after a season or two.

I think they've got it right up until last night. Myra should not have gone home...Rylee and Harry should have gone, and I believe they will soon if she doesn't start choreographing better dances and paying attention to all his movements, as you see the other pros doing with their partners.
Let's be real. They spend more time cuddling, and making social media posts than actually making choreography. They chose the showmance route and people told them to roll with it because it's working. But it's only so far that's gonna get them. She will have to finally choreograph.
Let's also be real. The producers made a big mistake making Rylee a pro. After week 1, she's totally checked out and isn't taking her job serious. I also find it shady how randomly they decided to add her as a pro, when she has almost zero connections to being on DWTS. The only "work" connection she really has with DWTS was being a pro on 1 season of Dwts junior's. She was never in troupe though.

I love them and can tell they're trying their best, but Harry just isn’t a good dancer, and that's ok! Idk if Rylee needs to be more strategic with her choreo, or if the minimal steps are all Harry can remember 😭 The rest of the stars are improving and at this point it's inevitable that he goes home next week if they stay stagnant.

This season has been the worst I’ve seen in a long time. Just because the Harry Jowsey followers keep on voting for this fucking clown. Granted, I’m not a good dancer, I at least move my legs around and do some kicking. I have bad knees as well, but I still have movement in my legs.

@@extraacc23 Iman showed a little improvement through the first few weeks before finally having an amazing contemporary on horror night. Harry hasn't improved at all and I seriously doubt he'll show anything different on horror night next week

Does anyone remember Jenna’s first season with Jake T Austin? He left earlyyyy, but even the couple dances we saw I remember thinking she was choreographing more for herself than what he was capable of because he couldn’t do much. Look how far she’s come as a pro since. I see the same for Rylee.
Yess, all his dances remind me of Jake. It's very common for first time pros. They don't know dwts choreo so they struggle with that stuff. Well, not Daniella, and a few others. But still.
I feel like Jenna does that almost every season no ? She mainly does well when the person she’s choreographing for already has some kind of experience in one way or another

Someone like Emma would’ve been making him do the basic steps over and over until it was muscle memory, not just coming up with a routine and expecting him to follow without teaching the technique that goes along with the steps. Rylee seems very sweet and she’s a wonderful dancer but you can tell that she’s VERY inexperienced in teaching and choreography. They should’ve made her a spare pro like Ezra and Sofia were in season 30 so that she could observe the training process before being thrown into this complex job.
I’ve said this before but like this couple’s looks are so cute but then their energy does not match at all when it comes dancing

This song didn’t fit contemporary at all. It would have been better as like Charleston or foxtrot. Also, he needs to move more and the choreography needs to be a bit more complicated.
It didn't really tell the story of his downfall and then rising up. It was like every other dance: happy, cutesy, beautiful Rylee flitting like a butterfly. Though I want them to remain, they should have gone home; not Myra.

So, Rylee, what was Harry's most memorable year? The song they chose was "Keep Your Head Up" by Andy Grammer whose a celebrity on DWTS with whose female partner and pro? DM said The Judge got really carried away with his scores last week. With contemporary, they're really gonna lean into flashing his torso and having him throw Rylee around with big lifts LOL. Bruno thinks about lacking musically and it was stiff, Carrie Ann tells about a step back from last and Derek on his fantastic partner Rylee as a new pro since DWTS: Junior with her other celebrity child star. Name him from Raven's Home or none of the above. Three 6s for a total of 18 out of 30 was not enough....that comedian and his partner goes on for some scary nights in this next round....
