I’m played in the Debut today it is true to size.I have 2E feet. Very fun ride ❤❤❤ ❤️ love them so much Traction work well on dust. Cushions work well great impact protection lower to the ground. Tongue sticking in ankel a little bit. ❤ Over all best performance for me for retro so far❤
I’ve never owned the Zoom Generation but over time it’s def grown on me. Plus I still remember the story of the 3 designers having a short turnaround time to debut a shoe for Lebron. To see all the detailed performance specs on these, makes me really appreciate what those three gentlemen brought to the project. 🤓💯❤️🔥😍🏀

Now it's resellers hoarding stocks through their "connections" and people don't mind paying absurd prices for a pair of damn shoes just for social status SMH

The color blocking on the USA pair is so dope, would love to see those release or a variation! Also, the purple pair slated to release is fire. Cannot believe it's been 20 years.

Had the OG wht/blk colorway back in 2003 & they remain my favorite Lebron’s to this day. I’m sure they feel heavy by today’s standards but they were one of the best combos of cushion and light on feet back then. I remember the traction being good, shy of elite though. The sphere lining felt great, especially since I was definitely rocking no-shows back then. I’m not an ankle roller but I do remember some friends not liking them for that reason. That does fit with them not having the greatest court feel, something the next model improved on. That’s my 20 years too late performance review. 😂

The whole Bron/Melo hype really got me into the NBA when I was young and getting obsessed with ball in general, and this shoe is what would be considered a "grail" for me. I hate how the last few releases were so limited and generally overpriced but I'm glad they're going to release more so I might finally get a pair 20 years later.

There's a new cool grey colorway of these coming out and instead of the synthetic stuff it's all suede and nubuck. They look really nice with the higher quality materials

I played in these back in my junior year. I remember it being really lightweight the cushion was great. problem I had was the fit, it felt a bit roomy at the toe area and I can't seem to get the laces tied the right way. the sphere lining felt very comfortable too. I had the white and red colorway.
I had those when they came out the first, they were great for playing outdoors and the leather was good, just got them back in those days because I couldn't find the Kidds or Jordans. I think the design is pretty cool. Not a Leflop fan anyway.

I had these not long ago. Played in them a few times, outdoors and indoors. I had the Wheats so everyone thought I was wearing timbs on court lmao. They were mad comfortable. The traction was great, the translucent rubber had no issues on my dusty court after breaking them in. Cushioning is crazy on these, great impact protection while being super responsive. Air, Zoom and a carbon fiber plate is a pretty goated combination tbhwy. My issues with these is the fact that they were pretty bottom loaded and not super stable. My footwork was actually weaker bc the shoes felt pretty clunky in a halfcourt setting and I didn't have a lot of courtfeel, but that's probably bc I weigh 143 pounds. A heavier dude probably presses more into the foam stack. I also rolled my ankle a few times in these which forced me to part ways with them unfortunately. I would've preffered them to be lower to the ground or having a wider outrigger. Otherwise, a great shoe that looks amazing.

I’m not understanding why he isn’t making smaller sizes for some of his retros despite releasing in GS/full family when they first released. The Pre-Heat/South Beach 8s and the Big Bang 9s are other examples.

I had mine in 2004, that brown nubuck one, and believe or not, i am still using the PU insoles of them. Still super comfortable.
I still have mine from 2003. I remember playing in them and they did feel great but you have to wear some hi ankle socks is what I remember.
