Apple cider vinegar fruit fly traps: get small bowl or ramiken and fill with an inch or so of apple cider vinegar, add a drop of dish soap. mix together and cover top tightly with cling wrap. poke a few holes on top for the flies to get in. works great!

Hello Shortie, while I have never been through a romantic relationship and thus never been through a breakup, I still think I know what it's like to go through heartbreak. I unfortunately went through instances of friends I used to be close with over ten years ago no longer wanting to be in contact with me. One of them was like a sister to me but completely cut me off once she got married. I learned ever since then that I should prioritize my own mental health and enjoyment of life. More importantly, I learned that I still have value as a person in my 30s even if friends leave me. I hope you are healing from the hardships you have been through previously.
I admit i had an aversion to the tweezing pulling sound, but persisted past to the "only girl in the world" and "shortbread" rolling r's. Love your accent, whispering and "weird' / authenticity" rrramble. Cheers!
Wow! I actually needed this a lot. I'm at an age that I date, but I don't do relationships anymore....so I haven't had to deal with breakup drama in years. Ironically I let someone too close to me emotionally because of a job contract of all things. Now it's all wrapping up....except we still talk and I'm emotionally going through the separation of it all. 😭🤣 Thought I was SOLID, but it turns out I'm still human. Thanks for sharing and being the light at the end of the tunnel. 💖😎
Honestly you could talk about anything on here and it would be great. You have such a soothing presence, and a real gift for engrossing off the cuff speaking and spontaneous storytelling. 😊 And there were plenty of tingles, rolling Rs or no. Dang 7 years is rough. My longest relationship was just over 4 years I think. I'm glad you were able to turn that around into something constructive and come out better for it. I don't know if was able to, but I have a lot of other mental health issues muddying the waters unfortunately. Unrelated, you spoke about something being "not on" meaning like "not cool", and the only other place I've heard people saying something is on/not on in that meaning was on an Australian TV show. I had figured it was an Aussie expression but I guess it's Scottish too then? ps: the tweezer was a good trigger when used on the mic slowly/gentley, but when quick it was a bit too piercing for me
