I don’t get why this is getting so much hate, it looks amazing! The choreography is on point, from the little we’ve seen so far anyway. It’s refreshing to see the a Jedi story set BEFORE the Skywalker Saga. It will be interesting to see the politics of the High Republic era, whilst the Sith are also clearly planning something. I hope we get Tenebrous but if Disney go with a whole brand new Sith Lord that will be okay - as long as they do him right!
An Asian Jedi - and a good one at that, like Lee Jung Jae - is essential to the character roster in Star Wars, and frankly one very necessary for some time now. Samurai movies were a substantial inspiration for Star Wars, and the Jedi basically mix Samurai conduct with Buddhist beliefs. Obi-Wan was actually gonna be played by Toshiro Mifune - the well known Samurai movie actor - before he pulled out.
I so hope this lives up to the Star Wars name, for all the people that put passion into this it looks like it could be great. Sol looks and represents what I think a Jedi should be and I hope all the actors and crew get the story they deserve.

I do understand that there are many reasons for people to be sceptical of this series. But there are other reasons to be excited for it too. Lee Jung-jae is one of these other reasons.
He carried this show while rest of the cast & production sank the show. it's INSANE they insulted his ability in making the show. when Star Wars gets REMAKE from East Asian film company we need Lee Jung-jae to play with better crew in making star wars

I have a feeling this show is going to be on par with Andor in terms of writing, pacing, character/ plot development and spectacle. The way they’re promoting it, you can tell everyone’s confident about this project.
Please don't set yourself up with unbelievably high expectations. Let's just see what happens when the show comes out. Remember that this is Disney Star Wars. I want the show to be good too, but i'm done with being disappointed by Disney over and over again.
