Bisampadi ko ardhsampadi bhi kahte hai, isme adhe adhe bibhago ki matrye saman hoti hai.
eg. - Jhap-taal isme 10 matraye (2/3/2/3) hoti hai. 1 avm 3 me 2-2matraye
2 avm 4 me 3-3 matraye
Isme adha adha saman hai isliye ise bisampadi Taal kahte hain.

Jis taal ke sabhi bibhago me Saman matray hoti hai use sampadi taal kahte hai.
eg. - Teen-taal, (sabhi bibhago me 4/4/4/4 matray hoti hai),
