Live events are so annoying, currently they want us to play the same 3 woman TagTeam event 4 times to win each tiers prize. This is so repetitive and I had hoped they would address this in the future. I’d rather they just spread out each reward in a separate live event in different match types and opponents. This is just boring and tedious.
I seen a few matches, I was thinking that they increased the difficulty for each tier ? If not that's wild, why would want just want to play the same match over and over ?
Great video. I will agree with you on proving grounds. I don't think anyone is playing the mode so much that you get 35 damaged heads. Especially when it could be just 5 matches. So you'd be playing the same matches over and over just for cosmetics or side plates. I will disagree with you on one thing in Faction Wars. You said it doesn't get repetitive, but I've noticed a lot of the 3v3 or 4v4 matches are ladder matches. They're not difficult, it's just a lot of ladder matches through the 5 runs. Again, good video. I enjoyed it!
Thank you!! Fair point on Faction Wars. It currently is a good amount of ladder matches with everything else kind of sprinkled in until the boss battles. I have noticed that some of the opponents you face have started rotating some which is a great start, now hopefully they continue to cycle out the match types. I do think the rewards are the big "WIN" of the mode so far, which is the biggest thing for me as a NMS player. Thanks again for the kind words on the video! :)
My opinions with MyFaction: Likes - Persona cards unlocking across the game. I can purchase individual cards and I hope this will extend to pack cards and reward cards needed for Live Events. Dislikes - Token market prices have risen. I don't like how Faction Wars has changed. It should have been an additional mode and we got to keep the ladder mode. The Pack markets are shit. If I buy a Legends pack, then I want a Legends card, not a Superstar card. Bugs with goals again. Last year, I couldn't acheive the goal of competing an online PvP match because it would never connect me. This year, I still can't complete that goal, but it also didn't ping my "complete a match in Faction Wars". My Faction is what I played the most of any game last year, but it doesn't interest me atm. Hopefully 2k makes some changes.
Great points here. Honestly to me the worst part is the markets as a whole. Token Markets, Pack Markets, Card Markets are all awful right now. The packs are expensive and bad, the card market only has base cards in it (at the moment, could change) and the token market seems pretty pricey.
I bet ya that we will see 400,000 VC packs which costs 100 USD like last year. At least you could easily grind MFP and not save over 10000k for early packs when 2k22 servers were up.
If you love spending your time on long tedious grinds on some boring/repetitive ladder matches and spending money on VC for cards packs more power to you but most of the fanbase doesn't want this. No one is playing this mode. The ultimate team style works well for many sport games but WWE just isn't one of those games. They are better off just scraping this mode entirely next year and coming up with a new mode that is focused more to what wrestling fans want. I have no problem with monetization I don't mind tossing extra money on a game I'm enjoying but make it make sense. This mode is never going to take off no matter how much they try to push it they want this to be their Nba My team but this won't work for a wrestling game because the audiences completely different but I'm happy to be proven wrong.
I think what you are presenting is fair. I have noticed a lot of people in the comments are willing to give this mode a shot this year but to be honest I don’t know, in its current state, how long players will stay on it with the way they have set up the market, proving grounds and everything I talked about. Idk if there’s enough meat on the bone here this year but like you I am happy to be proven wrong with the way they do the content throughout the year. I play most card collecting modes like my team and Diamond dynasty so I’m always going to give it a shot as a WWE fan!
The only problem with faction wars i just wish once you beat that boss that boss is gone u dont have face them qgain u have chance get other boss cards for this mode its pretty much just base on luck
The rewards in faction wars are far worse in my opinion. Yes you can buy really decent cards as of now, but in previous games you got packs as a reward. In this years version, packs are basically locked behind a pay wall or live events. That way, getting a decent collection going is a lot harder. Most rewards in FW are pointless besides the coins you can get, since you cant keep anything else. In addition tokens are a lot harder to come by since you don’t get them as FW rewards anymore, meaning the token market is an insane grind fest and even some what forces you to complete Proving grounds and PVP. Everything lower then the current highest rarity becomes basically a loss in FW since you will diminish the amount of coins you can get each run with low rated cards. A hard contrast to previous years where you could get use 3 bronze players to weaken the opponants team without any consequences. Lastly, the ticket system limits the amount of attempts you have at any given point, meaning a constant grind for MFP is not possible anymore. Obviously we had the contract system in previous years but in my opinion this didn’t feel as limiting since you got new cards quite frequently. The match variants and the overall game play however is way more enjoyable.
Great points! The FW credits is tough because you do make great points. I think if you are an online player, for example, and there is currently a card or two in the game that is ridiculously OP, it’s nice that you can unlock that card if you choose to in order to keep up online. The downside to that is like you said; pretty much no way to unlock packs currently unless you buy them, and it’s hard to fill out your collection. It doesn’t help all of the cards are ridiculously expensive and there is no community market in the game.
@@CodeRed41010 Thanks for the reply. Speaking of my faction i got a tip for a future video. There are several my faction cards that are only obtainable via Showcase and from what i heard my rise. Might be something to look into.

myfaction getting carried by factionwars rn. ik sum ppl dont but i enjoy live events (that becky is my fav womens card rn lvl 3 sting like a bee eatsss lol). ranked play i could dabble in once i get better mens cards. HM: token market absolutely did a 180. emeralds were like 3 tokens now they are 25?!?? complete bird brain decisions throughout this mode.
I definitely agree completely you are spot on alot of those rewards offline are a joke I'm basically playing for persona cards but how exactly to get done so far egg collect oddities lol . When I find an oddity it's not the one in looking for I don't want stardust I'm looking for Seth shield oddities . Hopefully the way to obtain these are mysterious. Alot just want the persona so just put gem in so e match and let us know exactly what we have to do if we choose . A lot don't even want to onst m faction other than getting the persona. It saves caw slots otherwise we would download them online and waste a slot for something you can just add simply .
More clarity on Persona Cards would be nice. I think the oddities will be coming out whenever 2k feels like we should be able to earn them which I don’t like. It’s basically putting cards in the game they know everyone wants that are impossible to get right now. Just drop the cards once all the oddities are unlockable. Still a good add IMO, but the process on them and unlocking them needs work.
Proving grounds is a joke I played it in legend mode and I'm using my signatures and finishes and only getting two counts lol but the roll up pin gets me 3 Everytime lol
Factor Wars is the one mode i have fun with and a must needed change than just playing 4v4 every. Single. Time Proving Grounds is very grindy, I played it last year bc I was kinda bored and managed to pass through I’m a free to play and don’t play online and i do agree, the packs just suck this year. I appreciate for the market but even that is very lacking.
It annoys me that the persona cards are reskins of wrestlers already in the game. Meanwhile, the MyRise characters that people wanted unlocked are locked to MyFaction.

I like the Live Events besides that one and hopefully that is not their plan for the future. That is just awful. At least mix up who you face lol

Making the MyRise characters exclusive to MyRise is frustrating, also bugs and glitches in the game as a whole is annoying.
Agreed! Doing a similar video for MyRise here soon as well as the online experience. Hopefully some of the bugs are patched up here soon!

I like the faction wars but when I went to the outside it would not let me back in so I lost my run so hopefully they fix that.

I wonder if the faction bosses will ever go above Ruby and how much they will cost
I believe they will be. I expect it to stay 1000 more then the lower tier as it is now. We will see once the higher tiers start being in packs
The amount of ladder matches in faction wars is unbelievable. Went through the whole thing and all i got was a saphire Auska.
The singles are doable, the tag ladder matches are a pain imo
