My brother got first place last year. He does an amazing job with his boat in this parade. So proud of him. Such an amazing extravaganza. A lot of work, but really worth it.
Dana Point Harbor is really Cool to visit as well during the Holidays. I remember one year they had a band on the back of a ship that went through the harbor. All so Dana Point has better availability regarding parking 😊

Horrible parade coverage! Camera was all over the place w/very little focus on the boats in the parade themselves. Next year, the main focus should be showing EACH boat as it passes a stationary camera... you know, like ANY other parade coverage. I watched this w/my mom and she was sooo disappointed and regretted telling her friends.
