I couldnt understand cortisol and pyrogen relation...voice wasn't clear ..could someone elaborate
corticosteroids is said to suppress fever caused d/t infections, collagen disease and during evening time corticosteroid level decreases so fever tends to be high.

Sir is fantastic but the students voice mic is malfunctioning so much that it gets annoying after one point of time.

At the end is it malignancy or pleural effusion BCz the clinical findings point to PE but the scan was abt malignancy can anyone of u clear my doubt 🤔😅

Why do low grade fevers have evening rise?
Because cortisol is high in the morning. It will mask the fever.
The cortisol will be low in the evening and also because physiologically also there will be 0.5 c of rise in temperature that will add on to the fever
