I am so glad to see that I am not the only one that has a passion / tick lol for multiple grills. I had to show my wife your videos to prove to her that I wasn't the only one that had this multiple grill thing. And yes it is a passion and a way of life thanks for the videos I am a true fan.
Looks great.Traditionally here in the Southwest and Northern Mexico mesquite wood is used for grilling carne asada, fajitas, pollo asado.California red oak for Santa Maria tri-tip and linguisa.Keep the videos coming!
YOU IN THE GAME NOW... BRINGING YOUR WIFE IN COMPLETE THE GAME.🤓👍 AND YOU DID A GREAT JOB. THANKS FOR BRINGING US ALONG. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM SOUTH CAROLINA.🌲👍☃️🌬️🥃
The camera image is really good. One of the things that might be helpful is showing how you manage temperature on this particular grill. I'd love to understand what you're looking for in terms of your grill grates an the difference you see when you raise and lower the grill. The Santa Maria grill really fascinates me.
Wood fired cooking is remarkable, you are right Dski! Great job cooking on the laser cut grates, they are a great addition to V-channels or just for grilling on. We created them for searing, cooking thinner cuts of beef, sliced veggies, thick burgers and grilling seafood!
Great information with good sound (rare) and the overall production was good. Love my Santa Maria grill too. Thanks for the info, #HereWeGoSteelers! LOL
Hi Dski. Just want to say I really enjoy your videos and always look forward to them and always give them a thumbs up...I've just never commented before. You always make me feel like I'm with you grillin in your back yard and you always inspire me to get out and grill! Wish I lived next door to you! Thanks and Merry Christmas!
That’s very thoughtful Joe. I appreciate the thumbs up and that you finally posted a comment. Thanks so much for your support and I wish you and yours a happy holiday season.
Another great video, and the bonus is meeting your lovely wife. The whole thing got me back on the Santa Maria bandwagon again. The camera is very good but the sound quality somehow seems not as good as before. Merry Christmas to you and the family!
Love the grill love the food you cooked. My only two cents, less repetitive talking, and more showing what you actually do. Agree with another comment of multiple grills, can not have enough outdoor appliances, they all do something different, keep up the hard work 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Merry Xmas to you, your beautiful wife and children, Dski. Sometime you just have to go out and cook up what someone else has prepared because they do it so well. While your Santa Maria is just waking up I'll be placing mine to bed here up north, at least with your video's it'll keep the memory alive. Great cook and if the camera work did change I thought it was for the better. It appeared as if you used a wide angle because the picture seemed broader and comfortable to look at, also the the clarity was spot on vocally. Enjoy
Awesome cook! Your excitement and enthusiasm for cooking makes your videos so much fun to watch. Wish I could have joined you for the taste tests. Merry Christmas to you and your family from Huntsville, AL!
You popped up it was an early Christmas!!! Great new camera, need to work on the sound though. Thanks again for making my favourite videos each week!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!
THanks for making these videos! Thinking of buying one but I'm wondering if wood-fire grill smoke would be bad under a pavillion (20x30) with a 9' ceiling. Lots of smoke - love it! But, don't want to damage the structure either. Thoughts?
I really believe you could have some issues. Lots of direct smoke going up into your pavilion structure could cause discoloration, smoke damage over time. I think open space is best for this style cooker. Hope this helps.
All the food looked great as usual. The video from the ZV1 looked great too. What are your thoughts on the camera? I’m currently thinking about upgrading the cameras used for my channel and the ZV1 is one that’s on the list. Wondering your thoughts on it.
I love the ZV1. Small learning curve but there are plenty of TH-cam tutorials that helped me. The camera is reasonably priced and rated as one of the best for vlogs and TH-cam videos in 2020. Only downside is battery life so i bought three extra batteries when I’m shooting longer videos. Merry Christmas. 🎄
Image quality is way better. A lot more light coming in which translates to clarity. If possible lower the f-stop a bit especially on bright sunny ☀️ days.
I've since upgraded. Let me know if you have a chance to check out my more recent videos. If so, please let me know if you think the audio has improved. Thanks for checking out the video!
I love santa maria style cooking . Well done , great cook

Amazing Santa Maria grill you got! I like the duel trays you can raise and lower separate.

The camera image quality is fantastic. I noticed better audio quality from your videos from years ago too. I love the variety of grills you use.

Good job, video is great. What is the size of your Santa Maria Grill?
48”

Thanks for the tips Sergio! Happy New Year!
video quality is fine but you might want rode go wireless microphone (or similar). this will help your audio tremendously, just a thought.
