As I was watching this video, as SOON as he said 'don't say this' I scrolled hapilly down to find your comment. Enjoy the ghost sickness, I'll see you on the other side ;)
Rahkim won't scare off any SPN-fans by that threat - "we know how to kill everything". On another note, S7E17 is my favorite episode and what I would like to recommend, and very different from the gag ones you've watched so far. All of these recommendations you've gotten are great (French mistake, changing channels et cetera are like it's own mini series within the bigger series) but it's not characteristic of the whole series to only watch them. Maybe one episode per season would be awesome for you. Either way, you need to see something with Castiel in it.
“Bad Day at Black Rock” season 3, episode 3 “Sam, Interrupted” season 5, episode 11 “Mystery Spot” season 3, episode 11 “Scoobynatural” season 13, episode 16 “Dog Dean Afternoon” season 9, episode 5 I just thought of another one, “The Curious Case of Dean Winchester” season 5, episode 7
@@DravenGal They’ve been an iconic pair since the 70s and perfectly fit the established theme. I’m pretty sure it had nothing to do with Tyler Perry movies…
Great reaction. And yes, those were actual snakes. Jared, the guy that plays Sam, was supposed to be laughing at Dean on that scene, but when he saw the snake he has like "No, I'm not doing that" and he had walked off set.
To be fair, they do have serious storylines too. But They normally have 1-3 off the wall funny episodes per season, once they realized how much fun they could have. Heck, Season 7 is basically one long dick joke. (The main villain name is actually Dick). Also the "Live free or Twihard" episode making fun of Twilight vampire craze.
Yeah it was an actual snake, the story behind that scene is hilarious cause the wrangler was basically on the floor behind the couch using his arms and legs to push/throw the snake over the couch
Yes, and what's even better is that Jared (sam) didn't want to sit there so he moved and left Jensen (dean) all by himself which is why the frame isn't as wide as it was previously in the scene
Ha! Seriously, the supernatural family is rabid. If you watch it, we will come... all 15 seasons, or just a few more random episodes! I would recommend the pilot for world building and family history, and something in a later season, like 8 (because Crowley is one of the best characters on the show) or the first half of 10. There are some funny ones and some serious ones, some monster-of-the-week and some story arc. All worth it!
5:09 Fun fact the scene where the snake is crawling on Dean it’s supposed to be a wider shot with Sam in it but Jared got spooked by the snake and just left the scene 😂 So they just zoomed in on Jensen (Dean)
I think he would like the episode “Baby”. The entire episode is from the perspective of their car, Baby. Great episode but also love the filmmaking switch up.
Tall Tales is usually the best episode I recommend to people who are new to it and don't know anything about the show. You don't need to know the lore, and don't really need to know much about it. You also don't need to follow any of the ongoing series to understand the episode and it doesn't have any spoilers in it for people who do want to watch it.
So the yellow eyes is a completely separate entity. It's one of the bigger demons - he killed their mother, got Sam addicted to demon blood by feeding him his own when Sam was a baby, he was basically the Big Bad for multiple seasons and is connected to the brothers on a personal level. Sam was supposed to be the Boy King of Hell, per that demon (Azazel, also known as the yellow eyed demon). However that demon IS connected to Lucifer
It can be hard to believe that this show is also one of the most tragic ones. So much heartbreak between these fun episodes ( and also lots of just exciting hunting episodes ) and that is also why I love it. The fun ones makes the sad bearable but also more believable.
@@luna-mo3ol maybe, but so many people were disappointed when he chose a season finale because there was so much significant going on and his confusion kinda worked against him for the reaction. people are just going to be doubly disappointed when he doesn’t react to any of the jokes in the french mistake because he just doesn’t get them and doesn’t have a connection to the show imo.
Agent Perry and Agent Tyler are because of Joe Perry and Steven Tyler, most if not all their fake aliases are based on classic rock and names of band members. ✌🏻Great recap!
I feel like a good companion ep to watch after this one is Season 3, Episode 3, Bad Day at Black Rock which is Sam's turn to be miserably hilarious. ;)
The sense of humor that Supernatural had was what made it so great. It was always willing to poke fun at itself. Yellow Fever was a great one for that. The episode Fan Fiction (season 10 episode 5) is another great one that shows that humor.
Yeah, there were definitely fans who counted all the times Sam and Dean died; it's a lot! Dean died way more than Sam thanks to the episode Mystery Spot. I loved this show so much; I still miss watching it every week. 15 seasons wasn't enough, really, but at the same time, that's 3 times the length the show was originally intended to be (Kripke meant for the show to end after Season 5 concluded). I keep thinking I should go back and rewatch it from beginning to end again, but man it's hard to get through the Leviathan episodes in season 7. Lol X)
This is a great episode and a great show! There are a lot of pop culture references throughout the series. A lot of the FBI names are names of famous classic rock artists. So, this was a reference to Aerosmith; Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. And every once in a while someone one will catch on to the names!
Yes the snake was real. Jared (who portrays Sam) was scared of the snake and the scene was slightly changed from what it was initially written. Sam was supposed to laugh with his brother discomfort but Jared walk away and he was not even sitting next to Jensen during the scene, so they changed the camera angle and they focused only on Dean. A video where Jared and Jensen are describing shooting that scene is the following: th-cam.com/video/z13Ql34Cn0A/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Supernatural290
More supernatural please!!!! Do French mistake (really meta) and mystery spot!! Other ideas are more Buffy (Hush is a really good one to just watch and its creepy as hell), also Firefly, Grimm, Smallville, and more supernatural of course.
Gotta say I watched episode 1 season 1 to the end a couple of years ago. Started in September and ended in February. I had seen most episodes up to and including a few from season 10. So. I just watched it all.. won't ever do again, lol 😂😂😂
Yes, real snakes. You have to find the clip when Jared and Jensen tell the story of filming with that snake. It’s from one of their convention panels but I don’t remember which one. Their fake names are often rock star names. Tyler = Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith. Steve Perry, former lead singer of Journey.
Rather than Mystery spot, like a lot of people said, which is still very plot heavy, Peace of Mind from season 14 is weird and hilarious with little overt plot. Or, if you want a badass episode, 4x01 is pretty epic.
I wear Shoes everywhere. But to be fair, I'm 6'6", and wear size 15 shoe. I've messed my feet up indoors, way more than outside. I wear them to protect my feet now (Last 20 years, I'm 50 now)
Love this concept keep going keep watching random episodes eventually you'll watch it all but no rush love all this skipping around lets do a later season sometime though lol
I was thinking about suggesting Baby, too! All the later seasons are pretty lore-heavy but that one is a good bet for later in the series without TOO much confusion.
I think French Mistake would be fun with your meta comment in the first episode. People have commented watch the 15 seasons so…. Have enjoyed watching you react to this, would watch you react to more or the full seasons. 😊
"Mystery Spot" next!!! (season 3 episode 11)
I second this
agreed
Yess!!!!!
Third this
YES!!
Just watch the whole thing it’s only 15 seasons 😂
As I was watching this video, as SOON as he said 'don't say this' I scrolled hapilly down to find your comment. Enjoy the ghost sickness, I'll see you on the other side ;)

Good luck trying to hunt the SPN fans. We got salt 😆
I watched all seasons in less than 5 Months. You got this.
My heart is telling me that you also need to watch Mystery Spot 3x11
Eye of the Tiger and Dean scream are the best parts of this ep.
“Bad Day at Black Rock” season 3, episode 3
“Sam, Interrupted” season 5, episode 11
“Mystery Spot” season 3, episode 11
“Scoobynatural” season 13, episode 16
“Dog Dean Afternoon” season 9, episode 5
I just thought of another one, “The Curious Case of Dean Winchester” season 5, episode 7
Excellently crafted list!! I would agree with all of them.
@@charliebradbury3450omg yess you got all the mid cannon events ones
Just the funny episodes? We need some more serious ones. (minus mystery spot, that one gets deep)
Regarding Dean is also a really good one
Season 12 episode 11
Dog Dean afternoon is one of my favourites of the whole show! I randomly watch it all the time 😂
oh no... he's addicted.
It doesn't take much, lol
Supernatural is a hard habit to break.
Happens to the best of us. Lmao
Makes sense
11:35 They often used names of rockstars for their aliases. This time it was Steven Tyler and Joe Perry from Aerosmith.
Interesting that they also ended up with "Tyler Perry." This didn't predate him, he's 54, but does it predate his movies?💙
Not only rock stars, stars in general in one episode there’s someone named swift or some other pop star I forgot
@@dianacardy336 at first it was mostly rock stars, later on it became pop stars and the like
@@DravenGal They’ve been an iconic pair since the 70s and perfectly fit the established theme. I’m pretty sure it had nothing to do with Tyler Perry movies…
@@Slappys Oh, I know, it's just funny that it turned out that way. 💙
"Dude's just haunted and vibing" should honestly be official Supernatural merch
Also, on top of all the episodes already suggested, Fan Fiction, Ghostfacers, and The Real Ghostbusters could be fun as well.
Mystery Spot is perfect for the next one

My thoughts exactly when he said that. :D
I wish you would also watch french mistake and mystery spot
I love "Mystery Spot", "It's a Terrible Life", and "Jus in Bello" as one off options
"Mystery Spot" plssssss, its such a good episode!!!! ❤
11:49 they change their agent names constantly, usually to musicians in a band
In this case, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry from Aerosmith
Bruh like ppl are saying, "mystery spot" IS the best episode of the entire series

Yes, I would definitely show up for someone brave enough to watch all 15 seasons from beginning to end. Love SPN so much!
5:09 Fun fact the scene where the snake is crawling on Dean it’s supposed to be a wider shot with Sam in it but Jared got spooked by the snake and just left the scene 😂 So they just zoomed in on Jensen (Dean)
👻 Who ya gonna call? WINCHESTERS!
ok now it's time for French Mistake
yesss "misha?" so good
I think he would like the episode “Baby”. The entire episode is from the perspective of their car, Baby. Great episode but also love the filmmaking switch up.
"Just watch the whole thing, it's only 15 seasons. Watch the 15 seasons of the show" -Some guy names Gabriel, who may or may not be a trickster
"Where have we seen this actor before?" The sheriff? Dude's in all kinds of things.

for me it's Sam's deadpan face every time that Dean does or says something ridiculous that just does me in! hahahahahaha

The snake was real and the actor that plays sam ran away from the couch which is why they only show a close up on dean lol
Saw the thumbnail and had to watch.😂😂😂. Great choice!!!!!
I can't pass it up: You should watch all of it - it's only 15 seasons.
If you ever do another episode I recommend s03e03 Bad Day at Black Rock! :)
Mystery apot next
Hi..you should watch all of Supernatural.. its worth it ,it will surely enhance your life..i swear....but yeah..next 'Mystery Spot'
DEFINITELY
✌
The cat scene when Dean screams is one of the best moments in the shows history
THE FRENCH MISTAKE (6.15)
It's a good one but very meta, so it might not be the best for what he's doing.
he won’t really understand it if he’s not in the fandom tbh, since most of the jokes revolve around the actual actors
It’s fun no doubt but the fun of it is mostly dependent on being very familiar with the current plot.
