I'm planning to do a similar tank soon too and was also debating between sand and fluorite! Are you happy you went with sand? The only worry I had was with anaerobic issues with sand.
Love it I just got a 55 gal and some dragon stone to decorate it up nice thanks for the tips and like your setup looks beautiful! What kind of fish are going in there have you figured that out yet?!I was thinking some Amazon puffers for mine!
Puffers would look awesome in a dragonstone set up but I'd definitely do bigger plants with them. I actually took this tank down recently to set up my 40 breeder.
I like the scape. I think using small plants you have set it up for Nano fish. Pygmy Corydorus and a number of different Tetras? What did you end up putting in it?
I’d stock it with Ember Tetras, a smaller Cory species and blue neo shrimp. I also love to stick buce into the cracks and crevices of my dragon stones.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'm leaning towards pigmy cories, a rasbora species and maybe some amano shrimp but I may have to consider adding some buce now too.
What fish should I put in this tank?
I’m thinking Apistogramma and Pencil fish in there. Thank you for sharing this set up, very helpful.
@@tamsmith357 glad you found it helpful!
clown fish or beta or kuhli :)
My cock
Pea puffers. What did you put in it?
Absolutely lovely!
Thank you! 😊
Absolutely lovely, much appreciated, you deserve all the accolades ❤🤝
Thank you! Hope you subscribed!
That set up looks very good! As for fish I think ember tetras or emerald dwarf rasboras along with some cory's would be nice.
I am definitely considering the ember tetra, emerald dwarf rasbora, and thinking pigmy corys. Thanks for the recommendation!
@@IansFishRoom Yes pigmy cores would be perfect

This tank is long gone but I've been happy with sand in many tanks.

a school of neon tetras or rummy nose tetras will look amazing
Neon tetras would look absolutely beautiful in there.
Love the scape, what size tank was this?
29g
Green neon 👍👍
Those would definitely look good in here and are definitely on my list of fish I want in the future.
I love it!
Thanks! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
Chili rasboras, green kubotai rasboras, Pygmy cories, harlequin rasboras, blue dream or red cherry shrimp.
I actually went with chili rasboras and pygmy cories.
Very cool, will you add shrimp?
I added some amano shrimp
Please put an update video or at least a picture in the status. Thank you!
I talked about it in my fishroom tour video. I actually took this tank down to make room for another project.

Pool filter sand
I think any type of blue eyed rainbow fish
@@IansFishRoom I think forktail Rainbows would look fantastic with that tank
I actually breed forktail so I was planning on adding some while cycling the tank.
what is the name of the plant ?
Anubias nana petite. Thanks for watching!

Red eye tetra and danios so much action
Thanks for commenting, unfortunately I had to tear this one down.
I am honored to be like number 69.
Thanks for watching!
Scarlet badis
I definitely want to keep those one day. I went with chili rasbora and pygmy cories in this tank.
Harlequin
I almost got harlequins for my office tank but went with ember tetras instead. I actually went with pygmy cories and chilli rasbora in this tank.
