ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

This figure’s cool cause they can reuse the body and it won’t even be shameless reuse! It’s the perfect doomsday mood all they need to to is make it 20% bigger and a new head sculpt

It may help to pop out the arms and then the butterfly joints from the socket and put them back in. That’s what I did with mine and I got full range movement on them.
That little piece under his chin is he tongue, it goes up and down with opening and closing of the mouth. Dope figure I can't wait to pick mine up. Awesome vid Shart!

I just found him online fans, most preorders are sold out. But movies land.com had him . 19.95. Normally I hate buying toys from random sites. But I reviewed them (seemed positive)', most of all they take PayPal. So if figure doesn’t show up I get my $ back. Oh shipping is $5 bucks. I’m in Texas.
You can't complain for the price point this is a great looking figure and will look awesome in photos.

7:57 I am 100% on board with a McFarlane Lobo figure even though I just got the Storm Collectibles figure, I'm always up for more Lobo. But to top it they have to make the Space Hog the BAF for whatever line they do Lobo
This is honestly my favorite Batman out of the dc multiverse line. I mean sure there are some parts that could get a little more paint detail but at least they got the face right. Super nice figure.

I am disappointed that the tongue of the Devastator was not painted. It was shown with a painted tongue in the original promo shots, which made the figure pop more with the mouth open.

Yes Mcfarlane finding his grove, but I wish he shrunk it down from 7 inch to 6 inch to give more paint details accessories etc.

I was thinking about this figure while on a walkabout last week, when I felt an urge to walk into the local gamestop. And what do I see on the shelf, Devastator Batman with a 24.99 price cost. Cue the Guts Theme as I stoically stare at it as one eye sheds a single manly tear.
i dont know if i should customize one of these to make a Doomsday figure or just wait for mcrafrlane to make one themselves,but this figue looks incredible, specially for that price! hasbro could learn somehting from this.

That's the same price as Marvel Legends but it has paint apps sculpt and accessories why don't you talk about that?
Accessories is a bit of a stretch for a piece of paper and a simple base.
Many of the other McFarlane figures are lacking, so not even comparable.
Have a feeling the original Doomsday reuse will be Death of Superman 2 pack.
I feel like Todd McFarlane is giving the DC figures what they deserve. I think DC figures can finally compete with Marvel Legends
Man, just a little wash would take it to the next level to bring out those details in the sculpt. Even without it, $20 is a stupidly good price. It's a little ridiculous how far we can get at that price point.

Well I easily want to get all the Dark Batmen so an easy buy for me.
Owning the foil cover version of the Devestator book. Cover is awesome and story was really good. He took put a whole group of heroes. Firestorm was one of them. Lobo was tossed into the sun from Earth if recall.
I have mixed feelings about this figure, I don't like the paint but I like the sculpt, I understand it's a big figure but the articulation is a bit strange. Every one says it's a good bang for your buck but I don't know if they say that because it's big or because they actually think it's a good figure. Thanks for the review Shartimus.

So does anyone know if this Batman Doomsday is a hero or a villain? Cause if he turned himself into this to defeat an evil Superman, that sounds like a hero. But he works with the Batman Who Laughs, an evil Batman. Did the Doomsday virus do something to him?

Controversial take but multiverse is really giving legends a serious run for their money. While legends keeps reusing sculpts, Mcfarlane (while having a somewhat shaky start with the hit or miss first wave) has made vast improvements with fantastic sculpts and paint. Also judging by their Comic-Con reveals, they are just hitting their stride

You know in the batman metal series for McFarlane toys is releasing a Red death figure
This is really where having figures in the 6.5 inch scale would enhance this guy but it is what it is. Luckily with a lot of these later figures, the lack of detail really isn't a problem.
At this price point with the detail that in there. This is what I say break out a wash and customize your figures.
Really outside of more intricate articulation, that's what the guy looks like. Not like Batman from the first wave. He doesn't look off. This is not the normal Doomsday, this is a different character.
I really want a Lobo and Darkseid now.
Also what I find funny is the other wave of Dark Metal figures is up for preorder on Amazon but it's the wave this guy belongs to that's being sent for review. Maybe preorders my might go next week or something.

I see this monstrosity and want to give it a green wash. Not totally green but just enough to give the idea. Replace the bat ears with ram horns and make a Revengers Hulk. I gave McFarlane shit for years for subpar figures. Now though? I am happily eating my words. I cant wait to see this behemoth on the shelf. Though Ill likely snag it off Amazon as soon as the Canadian site has it.
Between McFarlane toys and Dartzone/Adventure Force Hasbro needs to start stepping things up.
