Jesus Knocks Down Barriers

In John's Gospel, we see the leaders of the Hebrew faith rejecting Jesus, believing that their own efforts and their Abrahamic heritage ensure their entrance into Heaven.
Today, we should remember that nothing we do can ever save us. Only a true relationship with Jesus, through no power of our own, can bring us into God's presence in heaven. Jesus, the Son of God, lived a life here with us and sacrificed Himself to break every sin barrier that keeps us from entering into eternal life with Him.
