SeaSucker is what I used on the m3 and now on the M2C. Works great for both road and MTB. I was a professional cyclist and I've try lots of different racks. Be safe on the road.
Why didn’t you opt for the system that doesn’t require the removal of front wheel? IMO its a better system so as not too lose boot space and will also accomodate a disc brake frame.
Was thinking of getting the equivalent rack for my 3 series Saloon to put my dighy on top. How much height do the racks alone add to the height of the car? Also after the initial setup, how long would it take to put the racks only on and off if you want to use them occasionally and not drive around with them on all the time?

I still get nervous loading my Trek with the Panoramic Roof under the rack! ja ja ja ja Be safe and watch bike thieves so don't leave your bike on the THule frame clamp style mounts to much unattended! There is a video on youtube showing how easy it is to acquire your Expense Bike! Sheezzzz Semper Fi and Can Do OORAH

We have a M240 at home, we used the aero bars from Thule and can fit 3 mountain bikes with the new Pro Ride racks
