Thinking about it, it kind of makes since that dragon trigger dose normal damage in competitive modes. If say, it averaged around 8 to 10k (scary but manageable damage) on a crit with full might stacks and fully charged, with beserker power that would be 9.6k to 12.1k. Once you add in Fierce as Fire and Vulnerability you are now doing 16k+ crits. Easily within one shot range of a lot of specs. Only way I can see dragon trigger doing good damage on its own is if isn't effected by, or has reduced gain, from beserkers power (and maybe even vulnerability) so the damage doesn't scale with other damage modifiers. I think a lot of bladesworn players would be okay with that, but also limits build diversity in the long run.
Yes. It being your "Burst Skill" and thus still needing to be 7-8s CD for pvp trait balance' BUT having it be unblockabale in any capacity is a huge problem. Once-Upon-A-Time DT3 wasn't unblockable. Thus there was Identity+Counterplay to each Bladesworn Grandmaster, and you could trade damage for utility because even at 5 bullets you did mediocre damage at best. That's why I'm more in favor of a Revert' than a straight Rework' at this point. Because the kit *was Balanced & Made Sense* on launch* except ofc [Tactical Reload]. 😂
no they don't. never balance to a target dummy. look at wingman for real world performance. christ man this is the only mmorpg community that is stupid enough to insist classes be balanced on a boss dummy parse. the wow community dropped that as a gauge for actual performance before the first guild wars ever dropped. they use sims to know if specific gear or stat changes are better than others, but this game is far less complex in general than wow. they balance based on logs. you should be making balance statements based on logs as well. logs are reality, the golem is not.
While in an ideal world I 100% agree with you, I also see where Pinkie is coming from. And ANet absolutely has a habit of "just balancing just based on SnowCrows golem numbers." So I can understand this concern. There's also no denying that practically *all* of the new spears were either mechanically or #'s-wise artificially juiced to sell the xpac. But like I said every company does that now so that's: -_-. I'm glad that Wingman exists now, it's a great idea. & Let's hope you're right and they're going on/have more testers+practical data to now balance based on actual over-performing specs in fights than just SnowCrows pages and golem stuff. 😄
TBF if everyone played like magswag wvw would actually be a spectacle. I drove against them years ago so I understand the frustration a bit but complaining about tactivators at any time of the day is wild, NA/SEA/OCE are all play I got placed on moog when playing for some gifts of battle recently (got my mystic coins last 2 weeks) and the team chat is mostly just one or 2 schizos complaining about enemy commanders stacking afk accounts on EBG for most the day (there is a queue most of the time) and callouts otherwise are completely normal I don't care for 1v1 or boon balling in WvW anymore and I think the boonball screaming about following the tag 3...2...1... go repeat. even more boring bring on the cloud and an open field siege walking meta
Oh 100%. As you said: They play intensely, and obviously "cheating" occurs on just about every matchup in some form. And I do enjoy the fights that I get VS most MAG people. The problem is that there isn't a game-population to support 3++ active servers, so most people/guilds "who like WvW" or "who just like to win" or both pile on to whichever guild is currently making up Moog. And as I said I *do* enjoy the enven-er fights that we get when we get them. I don't want to just bully new players, I like seeing insane builds and enjoy 1v1s or 2v2s even if we end up losing. Problem is the population thing. When you go to take a sentry or camp and have literally 1 of 3 MAG Zergs that's currently painting the map go "Nuh-Uh, You don't get to play the game." That's when it's like welp, guess I'll go do something else. Don't get me wrong, I don't really see this as a problem that "needs" fixing. I'd just like to see more things to get more people in to WvW, which would ultimately solve this. In contrast to fighting uphill VS MAG which actively detracts from a lot of people's enjoyment and de-motivates them to play the game mode entirely. Effectively moving us further from that goal. -_-
@@PPPpppppppppopop I'd super be down for that honestly. I always thought even a standard PvP map that was 1 long tunnel's might be kinda interesting hahaha 😄
*Theorycrafting again* is SO FUN!!! \o/ Like actually tho. Thank you ANet ❤❤❤

1000% Feels cleaner in WvW now. I can actually get more than 1 skill off before a 8 Willbenders kill me 🤣
1.5 if you're clever 😂
I'm all for nerf patches. But the 46K+ and 43K QDPS builds need to be touched too if everything else is gonna be honestly

@@GW2Pseudo if push is a thing, why not all random all mid for WvW with rewards
put it in a tunnel lol
