Super presentation! I too am a huge hosta fan, but just getting restarted after moving to a different environment. I had lost of shade and nice clay soil, and moved to a very sunny, VERY sandy location. So it's taking some new skills to make things grow the way I want. Planted some trees to created some light shade and trying to amend soil in the beds. Thanks for the super information.

This is incredible 🤩 My two sons helped me make a hosta garden this year. I have 12 varieties mixed with perennial and annual companion plants. On day 3 in a row of visiting and staring at it, a snake zipped through it. I can't go near it now. What do I do, besides move? (no sighting of a snake in two yrs) Did the hostas invite it? 😥 ...help...
