Can you please post a picture of someone sitting on the bike with their feet on the highway pegs? It would be nice to see the difference. I have a really bad knee and it is getting harder and harder to ride comfortably with knee bent all the time. I just want to see how the leg extension looks. thanks.
it looks like the main support bracket has to be installed with the faring off, correct? then install the faring and put the faring bolt through with the washer and lock nut? after that the video seems normal.
You shouldn't have to take the fairing off at all. You may have to pull at it a bit to put in the bracketry but it was designed to be installed with the fairing on.
Yes we did. The exhaust was more of an experiment to see if we could make it fit aesthetically and create a better sound than to improve the performance of the bike.
What would you say the load capacity are of these? Not saying you would want to stand up on them, but as far as shifting your weight around or adjusting your position.
These weren't designed to be stood on. I don't have a load capacity figure for you at this time. They're just for resting your feet on. You can adjust yourself with them but keep in mind that you're more likely to damage them when pressing at the ends of the foot pegs than if you were pressing closer to the fairing. The foot peg portion of the system is very long to give ample foot room around the fairing bulge. All pieces are made from cnc machined billet aluminum so they're quite strong and the main bracket bolts are class 10.9.
Just a suggestion at the end pull the camera back and show your foot position on the regular pegs in relation to having them on the hwy pegs
