I've been using my isovox 1 for over 5 years now for screaming vocals in renting apartments and it helps a lot, but i can't fit my shure sm7b in it properly. (Apart from it slowy falling apart after moving 4 times)
Also i can highly recommend to use acoustic molton curtains around your isovox as further acoustic and noise treatment. That way my neighbors are hearing nearly nothing while i'm practicing really, really loud metal vocals.

Hey, I was just wondering if it is enough noise reduction to record metal in an apartment with neighbours around. Thanks for the comment - maybe I will consider getting one.
@@afterveil it depends on how your apartment is built. I live in a building that's ~150 years old with thick but unisolated walls. (i can hear my neighbors snoring at night or if they have an argument)
I use the isovox in combination with some cheap but thick molton curtains hanging in around my "screaming corner" . (you can get those cheap on Thomann for example)
In that way my neighbors can barely hear anything and i'm a loud screamer. What i always recommend is close your windows while practicing and talking to your neighbors to find a good time window.

Give me a break for that price there’s not that big of a difference. Your neighbors will still hear this guy singing like a hyena.

@@d42 die Sache ist die. Sicherlich könnte ich Vorschläge nun hier anbringen. Angenommen der Hersteller nimmt sich selbige zu Herzen und bringt eine neue Version raus die effizientere Wirkung erzielt, was habe ich dann letzten Endes davon? Der Hersteller verdient sich eine goldene Nase mit der Umsetzung der Ideen und hinweise und ich gehe leer aus. Daher denke ich wäre es nicht angebracht seine Gedanken öffentlich kund zu tun.
