I've ran a few of truck plow convertions. The A-frame connecting the mold board is the week point as it was never intended to have downforce on it. The restrictors are a must. Nice work.

I’m not able Put down force on the blade, I was going to add in some tabs so that I could but I figured I’d see how it worked first, so far so good. And the restrictors hopefully will be installed soon.

Weld the plate directly to plow for easier connection. Eliminates the space of the plow from machine and reduces the stress where the chain is connected. That's what I thought you were originally going to do.

Thanks for watching, only problem would be clearance when angling the plow. It’s already very close to the wheels, any closer and it would hit. I found that the visibility in our machine when it’s dark is poor. We put it on a compact tractor and it’s much better.

I made a very similar setup. Order yourself some restrictor fittings and install them between the quick disconnects and your hoses. It will slow the hydraulics down. Mine was way too fast, it's kind of dangerous. Trust me. Here's the part # Apache 39004378 1/2" Male Pipe x 1/2" Female Pipe Swivel, 1/32 Restricted, Hydraulic Adapter

Thanks, it was mounted on a Ford F-250 and the truck died. It was getting hard to start and had to be plugged in even in the summer. This should be a huge upgrade

Cool build, but I'd like down pressure.

What did you use for quick connects

I added the link for the connectors to the description.

@@12333jimmy just make sure you measure your skid steer fitting and also decide what type of hose you’ll use, then you can order fittings that won’t need a bunch of extra adapters or reducers.

Nice! Do you have chains for the skid?

Visibility isn’t the best when the snow is blowing around and it’s dark. Other then that working really good, tires have enough traction cab stays warm
