S0, upon inspecting the U7940 area and comparing it to the schematic diagram, I noticed that there is no R7917 (0 ohms) on the board similar to your video, do you think that the U7940 is the issue.I hope you can help me. Hi, Alex, you're probably busy and don't have time to answer everyone, but if you find a moment, please help me in the video, you're fixing this mac, I have, like you, all the voltages except PPv5_SUS, I've already replaced this small chip four times and nothing else I've measured everything around resistors capacitors I checked the paths and everything looks fine I ran out of ideas someone has already worked on this board before and I saw that the bios chip was being moved, in your opinion could this be the reason for the lack of this voltage? Sorry for my English
I have the same problem you have sometimes the green power light is on sometimes not but the board always gets power???? I have followed the same steps you did. I have the 3,4 v PM-SUS enable but I don’t have 5v on pin 3 ??? What do you think my problem is ?? Note: I have checked BP5V-S5 which i have the 5v for. Why doesn’t pin 3 have 5v???? Which part should I replace ?

I have the same problem and on the other hand by forcing the start: I hold the power button down and I connect the power supply then the fans start and stop then the mac starts up but without backlighting .... GPU? do I have to heat it up? or is there something else to check first? Again thank you for your advice.

Hi sir, My laptop is not getting ON in normal way. But. When I do long press for 10 sec then do one single press in power button, the laptop gets ON. But this way the fan speed is high and the power status is not showing in desktop. So by doing the test, pressing D on power ON, it says the SMC is not found But the service center exicutive had replaced the SMC but the issue is still there. Can you help on this, what could be the root cause of this issue. The battery is getting charged in normal way.
I had take my laptop was charging and I took it out and switch plugs on entry it sparked,I took it as nothing but now my laptop when it’s charging example it’s at 55% it jumps to 100% for a minute then drops back to 54%. Do you know how to fix.....I was wondering if it’s the macsafe board

I found a donor board, and it turns out it has the exact same issue. xD
How did you know where those schematics were on the board?
He has another software for the boardview not on screen that shows him where each component is on the board.
