Use Green my kids freshwater system and original ChemiPure for over 15 years. Never had real problem with phosphates. Thinking anojjngiving Blue a whirl with new big Fish only system. Not a big GFO fan, but like the idea of resin better.

Been using Green for a long time. Used to put charcoal and a few things in a filter bag but it just never works as well in my planted tanks. Wouldn't have a planted tank without it...
That said, you can do your own in a filter bag for non planted tanks much cheaper.

Im a sucker for the original but I have not used it in ages tbh. I am leaning on trying the blue due to the PH stabilization but my phos is low as it is so might go with the original again.

Used to run chemipure elite, but would strip phosphates way to quickly. Found chemipure blue is alot more of a slower absorption rate plus less worries of stripping out phosphate completely.

Great product, Elite on the 300 gallon and Blue on the Nano, looks like Blue is better, blue on 300 on next change :)

I have both Elite and blue. I just put the blue in because of the silicates. Keeping the Elite for when or if I need it. How long does this last?

With the chemi cure green still having carbon doesnt that still make it bad for planted tanks? Ive heard carbon its self is what absorbs the fertilizer we put in the tanks with the chemi pure green having carbon how does that help a planted tank?

Im dealing with high phosphates in my reef tank. I have always used rox .8 carbon in there. Would you recommend I add the elite and still use the carbón I do now or completely replace the carbon with the elite?

I don’t understand the difference between chemi pure elite and blue both are carbon with phosphate removers and ion resins
