    This is so cost effective. I'm new to homeschooling and was getting so overwhelmed with all these moms showing these fancy binding methods that cost alot. Thank you for reminding me that the good ol binder still works!

      Yes!! My husband’s one request when we first started homeschooling was “can we do it without breaking the bank?” Haha
      We also don’t have a spare room so we do with what we’ve got!
      Best of luck this school year! ☺️

    I didn’t even think of ripping pages out from their workbooks. 😅 That would make it so much easier for them to work on. Going to give that a shot. Thank you for sharing

    This is fabulous! I recently moved to using binders for my kids too and I absolutely love the way to put yours together. Gave me some great ideas! Thank you

    Hi! I’m new here but I’ve been doing this for years, but I only do a week a time. 6 weeks is genius! Love that it’s done for the quarter already so I’m definitely going to do this!

      Yes! I was also doing a week at a time but I always ended up with all this loose paper each week haha

    Also the Horizons book and explore the code books, where did you purchase those?

    Hello I just found your channel and I’m loving all of your videos ❤. Where did you get the handwriting without tears book?

    I like this idea. What do you do when all the work is done for the six week? I think I would like to do something like this.

      I go through the work and figure out what I want to keep in their portfolios.
      Everything else goes in a box that I rummage through at the end of the year. If I don’t need anything from the box, I get rid of it all 😬

    So do you have them write on the paper or are they writing over the sheet protectors?

    • @ThisReyesSchoolHouse
      @ThisReyesSchoolHouse  ปีที่แล้ว

      The sheet protectors are used just to divide the work and to avoid having to hole punch everything. We pull the pages we are working on out of the sheet protector and write on them.

    Where and what brand are your dividers? Thank you!

      Found them at Target! There’s a set by The brand AVERY and the other is Up & Up

    What size binder did you use? Im thinking of doing 2 binders 1 for core subjects then 1 for independent work. What do you think?

    I’ve tried this method but like you, the lesson that starts on the back throws my ADD off the rails…. I wish workbook creators would realize how annoying this is…. 😖

    • @ThisReyesSchoolHouse
      @ThisReyesSchoolHouse  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes!! Just leave a blank page please! Haha
      I have given up and instead I just separate until a lesson that ends on the back haha
