- I'm back on REDDIT, this time a sub reddit of Great British Memes. I thought this would be a little fun to see what the meme world thinks is a great British thing.
there's a few fun little ones thrown in there which I give my thoughts and opinions on, but I feel the main one will be this JAFFA CAKE one as it will definitely stir up the whole CAKE or BISCUIT conversation that always seems to come and go in this world of conversations.
So I would like to hear your opinions on this one especially. Leave me all your COMMENTS and if you wish for me to check out any other fun sub Reddits just let me know too, I definitely think the 90's tv adverts is something that will be coming real soon.

Probably true 😂 I can only comment on places I’ve been or here in the uk
Jaffa Cakes are cakes as proven in a court of law in 1991. You see VAT is paid on chocolate covered biscuits but not on chocolate covered cakes so McVitie's went to court to argue they're cakes - they won.
It basically comes down to this... when going stale biscuits go soft, cakes go hard. Jaffa Cakes go hard. End of debate.
Well I totally agree with you but unfortunately there are some people out there who ( unless they say it to cause some drama 😂 ) say it’s a biscuit haha but as I said in the video the box says cake so it’s a cake haha
