I am sure I missed a lot (please fill it in with comments!) but so many people wanted a bowgun guide it only felt right to do my best. Happy holidays everyone.
copyright has triggered on the preview vids so I am unable to cover them I am afraid. Only figured that out after spending 8-10 hours on part 2...which i released on Twitter
Mega Blaziken not at all. check out mai lbg. he uses great raw lbg sets. basically, a rapid fire pierce bowgun has great raw out put (stay away from pierce lv2)
It is just weird. A random channel on youtube did a compilation video, which is basically stitching all Brave videos into one, and it is still online as of this writing. You break the footage down and you got flagged? Regarding your idea on explaining all the LBG/HBG ammo, I will suggest holding on that until MHXX is out; just in case new internal shots are added.
Hmm I've been looking to try one of the ranged weapons for the first time (bow too), have never tried a ranged weapon in MH ever lol might as well give them a shot since they all seem inviting in Gen.
Amazing Guide but one thing I feel you missed was that you can use the gunpowder infusion art while reloading in order to cancel the reload animation, one small thing I use all the time.
Bit of a slip there Gaijin. Recoil applies to more than just pierce, though it's more noticeable there, since Pierce is very popular. Recoil applies to Pierce Shots, Pellet Shots, Crag Shots, Clust Shots, All the status shots and Dragon Shot, but not Normal Shot or the Elemental shots (except Dragon.) It also applies to certain Internal Shots. Keep in mind Recoil varies with the level of the shots. Level 1 Status shots have less than level 2 shots. In fact you need to get to "Minimal" Recoil to completely eliminate recoil on Status Lv 2 shots. You only need "Low" (or "Very Low") to eliminate recoil on Status Lv 1 Shots.
If you press the circle pad towards the monster for adept for either bowgun, you'll be facing the monster during the power reload/run. This lets you get a few pot shots off before needing to evade, sometimes getting off the entire mag. Also, the increased power from the reload only lasts 10-15 seconds, so you can only really get one magazine worth of shots before the buff expires. And for arts in adept/aerial, Full House for lbg and Gunpowder Infusion for hbg. One nice thing about Gunpowder Infusion is that it increases the motion value of each shot passively, so it charges up even faster and you can keep it up the entire hunt once used as long as you don't cart.
Gunner main here! Fun thing about hunter arts, they can be activated while reloading, which cancels the animation and replaces it with the art one but still reloads the gun. This is especially useful on heavy bowguns as the long reload time is usually greater than the gunpowder infusion art which charges so fast that with certain guns you will never be reloading normally. Also lets you reload a rapid shot with a lower level full house before you unlock level 3 with light bowgun.
JUST in time as I completed my first of many Gunner sets and a handful of ranged weapons, thanks for a great reference on how to get a hang of the bowguns!
Without aerial LBG, (don't know about HBG) after the downward shot (not rapid), you can fire off another shot using just A. It fires the shot in the direction your camera is facing. I like to do the down shot then after a little bit when I'm still in the air, I L target the monster and fire off the second shot. It helps sometimes.
For HBG: You can also crouch fire directly after an unsheathe by pressing and leaving pressed until it goes into siege R+X+A. Super useful since it reloads and sieges right after.
The only thing I wish you covered was explosive gunning(Crag & Cluster). Back in the day it was still pretty niche and really resource-oriented but it was still cool as hell.
Since this video covers both HBG and LBG I would like it if you could add timestamps in the description so we can jump to specific parts for rewatching. I've watched all of these weapon tutorials several times and I spend a bit of time jumping back and forth through the video to follow along or hear the breakdown again. Just a thought. I'm sure these are too out of date for anyone but me to care. Thanks anything
Both Guard and Guard Up work for HBG in MHGen. It's really fun because instead of dodging around, you can stick to one spot and just stop shooting when you think you're gonna get hit, and the guard skills make it so that you don't suffer too much knockback/chip damage. I wouldn't recommend a style that only has one HA because I always take Hunter's Oasis to heal my chip damage.
In Adept and Aerial Heavy Bowgun, you can roll out of Crouching Fire instantly whereas in Guild you can't roll until you completely stand up -it's even slower than it was in 4 Ultimate-.
thanks man! your tutorials really help me out. I have a problem with generations, and it's that there's too many options XD I don't know where to start, but you show me the way
Great tutorial. There's nothing like your tutorials. It's so detailed compared to others. Some feedback on the editing: Some of the volumes aren't leveled, especially when you announce the hunting art. So it sounds like it goes from 100% volume to 150% and back down to 100%. Which I can understand because you record that part separately and add it in. Just a minor feedback from a headphone user.
Thanks. I rushed to get out those punch in takes and realized after the fact that I didn't review the audio well enough. All a good learning experience I suppose! Hope the audio overall is better as i recently upgraded my setup ^^
I feel like rapid fire hunter art is very underrated because it shoots a lot of bullets (WITHOUT wasting any ammo) giving you potentially more shots for the rapid ones and on top of that it charges very quickly. I don't really see full house all that useful because you can always reload when you want if you get the opening and with adept evading if you switch to the ammo before you evade you will automatically reload it, so i see full house for the "lazy" people xD also you put the blue version of nakarkos lbg but the normal version has a bigger ammo capacity with 9,8,9 normal and 6,5,5 pierce, (not counting load up skill) and it even comes with better internal and better rapid then the polar version.
Maybe somebody knows: After adept evade, i push the pad into my desired direction and can start firing again right away, which works fine, but if i want to adjust my aim first, it takes about one second after the power reload to be possible. Because i saw some speedrunners adjust their aim right away i wonder if i don`t get something with the controls? Please let me know if i can fix this somehow, cause waiting 1 second after every adept evade for pulling up my aim to the monsters head is what cuts off LBGs full potential for me right now.
I wonder if it's possible to fully rely on the HBG burning weapons art and forget about putting recoil skills on armor or using a bowgun with reduced recoil. Although I doubt it.
with HBG, you can cancel the reload animation with hunter Arts like Gunpowder infusion(!!!), saving a lot of time if you reload with X and imidiately hit the art. Also i like Striker LBG more that guild because i think the roll is better than the hops. usualy 1 hop is not enough to get out of the way so you need 2, and 2 hops take more time than 1 roll... but then again why use anything else than Adept? lol Also for ppl complaining about the video being late, GH was pointing on Arekkz Gaming´s tutorial and it helped me just fine. At least the series is complete now :P
I bought MonHunGen on release and I'm barely past rank 6. I need to catch up... but I just like going off and making weapons, which ends up slowing my progress significantly...
So does anyone know if it's confirmed that the pierce values of pierce shots have all been nerfed? I saw a reddit stating that if it were true, Daora Grande would be the best hbg for pierce because the extra 1 point of damage going from shooting pierce 1 to shooting pierce 2 wasn't worth the extra ~100 more shots you can combine for pierce 1. Would be nice to know for making gunner sets, thanks all!
for pierce lbg i suggest using pierce up, weakness exploit, crit up, and expert 2/3. this is a rather easy way to get into pierce gunning as all youll need is the hayabusa band, akantor r arm/leg, and most likely either s. los chest/waist or a mix of lodestar stuff with a decent tali. for both guns, the general consensus is to run adept style as the evade (and run) with the reload (which you can press A after to fire immediately). this is also due to the fact that the hunter arts are rather lackluster compared to the blademaster weapons. for lbg the full house should be your pick of the 3 types and for hbg...absolute readiness...yea...not all that good of hunter arts gun types for pierce can be found in gaijins top 5 but my picks would be the polarstar and the s.w. narg for lbg. hbg gaijins video again in hunts pierce bowguns are all about dps for larger mons so the goal is to keep yourself at crit distance and firing. for hbg try not to sheathe when maneuvering as that actually takes more time than just rolling (except to heal of course). i play lbg myself but a alternative (in most cases mandatory) skill for hbg is recoil down, as it increases the amount of shots you can get in during an opening. for lbg id say depending on your set you can use true shot up or the bonus shot but for pierce the set i mentioned above is a nice cookie cutter that i use as a constant (WE 5 3 slot tali which means no wpn slot needed, but this is VERY flexible). to end, ill just say, go off and experiment, have fun trying new stuff (even aerial pellet hbg...bastard) cause if it doesn't fit you then whats the point?
i apologise for any issues in formatting or grammar as this is from my phone so i dont feel like making it look like a research thesis in addition i am far from the highest authority on the subject of gunning so i suggest you look stuff up on google as there are more experts than me (not that i am one) out there
Another good pierce set for LBG is "Pierce up,crit boost, critical eye +2,shot booster" shot booster help to keep critical distance when using pierce lev 1 and with LBG you can use a silencer (if you use the silverwind ones, nakarkos ones not need that) for not gemming recoil down +1 (needed for lev 2/3 pierce) weakness ex is not that good on pierce in most of the cases, not all bullets hit a +45 monster hitzone so generaly is better to use another skill. The Hunting arts that are good for LBG are full house if you use more than one type of shot (it's nearly useless if you use only lev 2 normal or lev 1 pierce) and absolute readiness, cause help you to reposizioning yourself (evade attacks too) and reload one type of shot,so it's best to use this if you use a normal 2/pierce 1 only sets Ps=Repeat offender is a good skill for pierce sets instead of weakness ex (+30% critical in all cases vs +50% only for the bullet that hit a +45 zones)
MadDogMatt013 for pierce lbg, i'd suggest crit eye 2/3, crit boost and pierce up, frenzy fever for your art and the silverwind lbg for the rapid pierce lv1.
For LBGs using TrueShot Up, I think special attention should be given to the piercing elemental shots. Things like the Elegant Parasol or the Semi-Autos can deal a ton of elemental damage with TrueShot Up and the respective Elemental Atk +2, I find.
Moldy Shishkabob You're right TrueShot Up boost the elemental power of internal shots ( +20% if i remember) and is a must have for a elemental internal shot set ,usually player use sets like "Specific elem attack +2,TrueShot Up,Bonus Shot/Ammo saver" for elemental LBG gunning Ps=I add load up for elemental pierce lev 2 focused LBG cause usually they can only load 2 bullet at the same time
The only thing holding me back from playing more bow or bowgun is that god damn tiny right stick on the new 3ds xl. Once your thumb is a tiny little bit sweatty it's close to impossible to move up or down. Guess I'll wait for MHW with that :D
The virtual dpad is an easy sub for the c nub when it comes to bow gun/ bow aiming. however an easy trick to get the c stick to work especially with up and down is having abit of fabric over your thumb when you use it. for me i cut off a finger from a thin fabric glove i don't use anymore and put it on my thumb when i play. then tweaked the camera to fast in the options then boom i could aim with it easily
I just picked up MHgen again after not playing it for over 6 months, with mh world coming out next year, I felt like getting back into the hunt zone, I've used bow in 4u but haven't used any on Gen, not to mention I like a dumb dumb deleted my previous save file and had to start all over again but I did anyways and I've picked up HBG and light as well, finally made an armor yesterday [gamoth set] not familiar with most skills but just trying to get a feel for the guns, so far I like Light better because of the rapid shots, really enjoyed it... though going on a solo hunt with a LBG that only has like 130 raw damage might of not even a good start lol.. took me almost 45 to the kill the damn kut ku, and a surprised cucumberJo doesn't help either. I am looking forward to using this awesome two new weapons.
Question, also the main thing I was hoping to see in this to know, do you know how much HBG Gunpowder Infusion powers up shots? I want to know how good it is, and how is it for lvl 1 and 2, also?
I ve 2 more questions: 1. Pellet has no crit distance, so is it 1.5 all the time meaning u are always in crit distance or 1.0 all the tine meaning that u dont get crit distance multiplayer 2. U said that elemental shots also depend on ur atk but i thought they had fixed elemantal values so how to understand this?
hey Gaijin got a small Gunner question: is the low-rank version of the mixed Jaggi/Bulldrome armor still about the same efficacy in high rank? cus while my low rank Gourmew armor has been a real help, its defense is starting to be rather lacking even when maxed out (not quite at max yet, but it will only take a few Accolades and i know where to get those) and while it IS a fun low rank set, sadly the high rank version does NOT automatically come with the Ammo Saver skill, which is half the fun of the armorset especially with low-ammo Internal types like Dazzling or Triblast, i once shot Dazzling 9 times with a total of 5 ammo cus the Ammo Saver triggered on 4 diff shots but im looking to get a set with higher defense after upgrades, and i dont remember the stats on the low rank Mixed Set of Jaggi and Bulldrome, i just know with a handful of Attack jewels it was ablwe to get Attack Up L and was a really solid Mixed Set for low-rank i just wanted to know if the High Rank version is the same or at least close in terms of what it generally offers
Casey Jo | Go to your Palico Board and go to select Palicoes and deselect the ones you have active. The should have a red and blue icon near their names.
If you are gunning solo, having two protection palicoes is a godsend. I wouldn't recommend turning them off. They are free opportunities to either unload a clip or siege up.
1:00 "It throws you far away into a safe distance" - summarizes why Aerial Style's one of my favorites. Because the Heavy Bowgun would've been perfect if I had some way to get brief, but large mobility boost, to reposition, or distance away from the big ones.
For LBG, I'm personally a fan of Striker, mostly because of the much loved double absolute sets. I find that those sort of sets are really boring most of the time (because I'd rather have fun my own way) because the other weapons have hunter arts that are much more interesting than them. LBG just benefits Full House so much that I find it painful when I don't have a Full House set by the first clip
My main is Adept HBG and i feel damage so insane! La foi have 8 clips when use normal lv 2 and Rathain will stagger every 6 on head aim and Pellet HBG Aerial style is crazy!
can someone please tell me a good all-round LBG and HBG each for hunting monsters in MHXX? (i usually use bowguns for big monsters or elder dragon) i'm low on materials so just one each please (or some suggestions with explanations so i can pick) thanks im advance
And here I have been told that the ligh bowgun is only good as a support weapon and you can't main with it, what lies. It's great though I have been looking for an excuse to start a new file, too bad bullets and ammo eat up my funds so quickly. Really good guide though thanks for making it!
I am sure I missed a lot (please fill it in with comments!) but so many people wanted a bowgun guide it only felt right to do my best. Happy holidays everyone.
When do we get the other Brave Style vids?
copyright has triggered on the preview vids so I am unable to cover them I am afraid. Only figured that out after spending 8-10 hours on part 2...which i released on Twitter
Is it wrong to run raw damage lbg sets?
Mega Blaziken not at all. check out mai lbg. he uses great raw lbg sets. basically, a rapid fire pierce bowgun has great raw out put (stay away from pierce lv2)

after a while, critical distance kinda becomes instinct
Gaming oD | Dazzling Shot has no Crit Distance, it does max damage at all ranges, iirc.
+Gaming oD South said "Instinct" as in knowing what's Crit Distance and what's not comes natural.

"Against, recoil you might need to skill down to use this."
Stay golden, Gaijin Hunter.
Stay golden, Ponyboy.
Hmm I've been looking to try one of the ranged weapons for the first time (bow too), have never tried a ranged weapon in MH ever lol might as well give them a shot since they all seem inviting in Gen.

It's been 80 years....
(thanks man!)
Lol
It's a Christmas Miracle! Now to learn how to use Bowguns at long last! *Hits play*
Weeb
Holy crap! Four months later and we get a Bow guns tutorial? Looks like christmas came early.
as a main gunner since Tri, its nice to see some bow gun love
sry4gotmyusername omg yes I feel you
This video is an unexpected early christmas present! :D good to see you!
An in depth guide would be amazing, I just recently picked it up again because of this video. Aerial HBG is nuts and feels so safe
"Aerial HBG is nuts" yeah especially with Pellet shots xD
It’s a 6 year gap, but I found my people
If you press the circle pad towards the monster for adept for either bowgun, you'll be facing the monster during the power reload/run. This lets you get a few pot shots off before needing to evade, sometimes getting off the entire mag. Also, the increased power from the reload only lasts 10-15 seconds, so you can only really get one magazine worth of shots before the buff expires. JUST in time as I completed my first of many Gunner sets and a handful of ranged weapons, thanks for a great reference on how to get a hang of the bowguns!
Can't wait to see you cover my favorite shots: Clusters! :D
i prefer Crag and Triblast myself, but Cluster is pretty nice if you can land it properly...which isnt terribly hard to do with consistency most times
same man, the lost musket and it's cannon shots make gunning so much fun
I started MHGen with LBG thanks to your Seregios LBG mixed set from MH4U. and i've waited so long for this video to come out, thank you.
In the video you stated that Aerial LBG had no hops period, however you can side/back hop after a shot (once).
Not sure if he mentioned it, but with Gunpowder Infusion you can use it mid-reload to get both the reload and the HA off
For Striker Style you also get faster charge on your hunter arts, I don't think it was said in the video or I might of missed it.
For HBG: You can also crouch fire directly after an unsheathe by pressing and leaving pressed until it goes into siege R+X+A. Super useful since it reloads and sieges right after.
I just now decide to get into bowguns and gaijin Hunter just now drops a guide on it!?!? Christmas came early this year!
What a Christmas gift! Glad to finally see this :P
I hope on your shot guide you can show off good bowguns for each shot such as longshot and the hunter rifle.
i just tried out light bowgun and i really didn't think i'd like it that much but i really do
I'm pretty sure aerial HBG also allows evading out of crouching fire.
Lol just a few months late
Gaming oD No reason for that
was hoping for more discussion on the arts themselves, but still a great video, thanks for making it! :D
its been 100 years GAiJIN! XD ive been waiting for this for the longest!
The only thing I wish you covered was explosive gunning(Crag & Cluster). Back in the day it was still pretty niche and really resource-oriented but it was still cool as hell.
How come this aren't posted with those in the past ?
I like the armor set you have at the beginning.
As a ranged main, I approve. But mostly LBG. Nice to have ya back gaijin.
In Adept and Aerial Heavy Bowgun, you can roll out of Crouching Fire instantly whereas in Guild you can't roll until you completely stand up -it's even slower than it was in 4 Ultimate-.
And 3U I think.
thanks man! your tutorials really help me out. I have a problem with generations, and it's that there's too many options XD I don't know where to start, but you show me the way
Of the gunner weapons, Ive only really played lbg in 3U and 4U, but with Adept ive really gotten into the HBG. Really fun stuff.
Yeah adept makes bow gun so much fun because you can reposition so quick after an adept evade atleast that's what i think
gaijn hunter you got aerials moveset wrong you can still do single hops steps in aerial style and a back hop after you fire
Thanks, Gaijin! The only thing I really needed to know was the Supernova Shot's motion value c:
I believe you can also roll out of siege mode with aerial style
Isaac Leighton adept as well
Isaac Leighton my bad didn't finish the video before replyin lol
Great tutorial. There's nothing like your tutorials. It's so detailed compared to others.
Some feedback on the editing: Some of the volumes aren't leveled, especially when you announce the hunting art. So it sounds like it goes from 100% volume to 150% and back down to 100%. Kan Biiru You see ladies and gentlemen? This is called constructive criticism...
I remember using gods isle with a Dahmohren set for 6 shot rapid fire, not too practical but fun.
Also... it's *Geyser* gaijin, not geiser... it's great to have you back
*Insert meme "aerial pellet hgb is viable" here
The Marcuz HELL
But is it tho?
Aerial pellet HBG is viable
I've heard that it's disgusting.
Whatever that means.
heh. check out ApexGaming's video on that
Was gonna go to sleep, but this is something I need to see, hyuk.

I'll always love Heavy gunning. Siege mode is hilarious with an Aerial friend.
Adept hbg actually loses the ability to side roll in crouch fire so it does lose a little bit
I wonder if it's possible to fully rely on the HBG burning weapons art and forget about putting recoil skills on armor or using a bowgun with reduced recoil. Although I doubt it.
Great guide Gaijin
just 1 thing i notice... 4:28 siege mode doesn't give you recoil reduction
with HBG, you can cancel the reload animation with hunter Arts like Gunpowder infusion(!!!), saving a lot of time if you reload with X and imidiately hit the art.
Also i like Striker LBG more that guild because i think the roll is better than the hops. usualy 1 hop is not enough to get out of the way so you need 2, and 2 hops take more time than 1 roll... but then again why use anything else than Adept? lol
Also for ppl complaining about the video being late, GH was pointing on Arekkz Gaming´s tutorial and it helped me just fine. At least the series is complete now :P
1:14 How do you open that equipment menu??
You can roll out of crouch in aerial, too :D
Can you upgrade the amount of bullets in a clip for heavy bowgun
Thanks GH Merry Christmas!
Anyone know a build that allows pierce up and recoil down for the akantor heavy bowgun?
Thanks I'm still pretty new to mh in general
can anyone here give an answer. how to quick aim when using LBG after adept evade? i tried holding R after power reload but no luck. :/
I bought MonHunGen on release and I'm barely past rank 6. I need to catch up... but I just like going off and making weapons, which ends up slowing my progress significantly...
I can’t seem to access my armor that matches my bowgun it won’t allow me to, why is that??
All I can say is don't forget to include removing the limiter on hbg allowing you to use wyvern's fire.
mhg was released in 2015 but looks like it was released in 2005
W H Y ?
it was originally made to run on Nintendo 3DS hardware.
5:17 "Gog sin."
Yup.
Crime Close enough

MadDogMatt013 for pierce lbg, i'd suggest crit eye 2/3, crit boost and pierce up, frenzy fever for your art and the silverwind lbg for the rapid pierce lv1.
For LBGs using TrueShot Up, I think special attention should be given to the piercing elemental shots. Things like the Elegant Parasol or the Semi-Autos can deal a ton of elemental damage with TrueShot Up and the respective Elemental Atk +2, I find.
Moldy Shishkabob You're right TrueShot Up boost the elemental power of internal shots ( +20% if i remember) and is a must have for a elemental internal shot set ,usually player use sets like "Specific elem attack +2,TrueShot Up,Bonus Shot/Ammo saver" for elemental LBG gunning
Ps=I add load up for elemental pierce lev 2 focused LBG cause usually they can only load 2 bullet at the same time
TIL you could vault-fire downward.
omg is this real life? gaijin bowgun! ive been waiting since forever
Its took years... I grew a lady beard ~_~
+Captan Suzy
Hope that thing has decoration slots.
thank you been waiting for this
The only thing holding me back from playing more bow or bowgun is that god damn tiny right stick on the new 3ds xl.
I want to know how good it is, and how is it for lvl 1 and 2, also?
dahren mohren clip is from mh4u right?
Oh hey, an update on your old one, didn't notice this.
I ve 2 more questions:
1. Pellet has no crit distance, so is it 1.5 all the time meaning u are always in crit distance or 1.0 all the tine meaning that u dont get crit distance multiplayer
2. U said that elemental shots also depend on ur atk but i thought they had fixed elemantal values so how to understand this?
hey Gaijin got a small Gunner question: is the low-rank version of the mixed Jaggi/Bulldrome armor still about the same efficacy in high rank?
cus while my low rank Gourmew armor has been a real help, its defense is starting to be rather lacking even when maxed out (not quite at max yet, but it will only take a few Accolades and i know where to get those)
and while it IS a fun low rank set, sadly the high rank version does NOT automatically come with the Ammo Saver skill, which is half the fun of the armorset especially with low-ammo Internal types like Dazzling or Triblast, i once shot Dazzling 9 times with a total of 5 ammo cus the Ammo Saver triggered on 4 diff shots
but im looking to get a set with higher defense after upgrades, and i dont remember the stats on the low rank Mixed Set of Jaggi and Bulldrome, i just know with a handful of Attack jewels it was ablwe to get Attack Up L and was a really solid Mixed Set for low-rank
i just wanted to know if the High Rank version is the same or at least close in terms of what it generally offers
9:14 how much bonus damage?
How do you level up in monster hunter generations so I can access better ammo
@11:07 the damage reduces to x0.08? :P
Striker LBG? You had to of known how powerful and versatile it is with the Absolute Dodge skills. Give that a try.
how do you "disable" your palicos so that they don't come with you on quests?
Casey Jo | Go to your Palico Board and go to select Palicoes and deselect the ones you have active. The should have a red and blue icon near their names.
thank you very much
If you are gunning solo, having two protection palicoes is a godsend. I wouldn't recommend turning them off. They are free opportunities to either unload a clip or siege up.
Feels like beating a Vault Monster in Borderlands.
Does the shaking of the screen still apply to the other MH games?
So happy for this. Now just waiting for MHGen live streaming crusades like you did with mh4u

"It throws you far away into a safe distance" - summarizes why Aerial Style's one of my favorites.
LBG just benefits Full House so much that I find it painful when I don't have a Full House set by the first clip
is normal shot1 okay to use of its rapid? I'm asking because my favorite bowgun is gods island
I didn't know you can adept evade from crouch fire.
What does the power reload bonus gives?
Is there a good gun with sleep and internal slicing?
hey guys, gunpowder infusion or super nova for adept hbg?
But can it cut tails. Didn't think so that the reason I can't use it.
Sora Shiun'in Not so fast, buddy. You can load slicing shots into both LBG, and HBG. Those do tailcutting damage.
Never really used much by way of slicing shots, could someone who solos in the guild take enough to actually cut a tail?
nice I was just looking for this guide yesterday. Guess you read my mind.
how do you lock on to the monster?
My main is Adept HBG and i feel damage so insane!
La foi have 8 clips when use normal lv 2 and Rathain will stagger every 6 on head aim
and Pellet HBG Aerial style is crazy!
can someone please tell me a good all-round LBG and HBG each for hunting monsters in MHXX?
(i usually use bowguns for big monsters or elder dragon)
i'm low on materials so just one each please (or some suggestions with explanations so i can pick)
thanks im advance
soooo.... how do u think about Arial pellet HBG? :^)
And here I have been told that the ligh bowgun is only good as a support weapon and you can't main with it, what lies. It's great though I have been looking for an excuse to start a new file, too bad bullets and ammo eat up my funds so quickly. Really good guide though thanks for making it!
ジンベイザメ check out Mai Lbg/Hbg on TH-cam. It may just change your whole view of lbg being a "support" class. (:
