Casca will not die if Muira’s intent is followed. He said in an interview he wished for it to end well for Guts and Casca.
While I agree that casca shouldn't die, I feel as tho the inevitable may come as a personal sacrifice to dave her life and future is gut's succumbing to the armor and following the path as skull knight. Always watching from afar in the shadows like a personal watchmen.

So actually I think this ending is more likely and backed by fact:
Fact: Griffith cannot control the moon child coming out during a full moon.
Fact: Skull Knight only comes out during a full moon
Fact: All people coming to midland in one central location under Griffith’s control is Griffith’s idea.
Fact: all the deaths of any other spirit tree is Griffith’s goal.
Fact: people become dependent on the World Spirit tree to live.
Fact: Skull Knight has a sword that can cut through dimensions.
With those facts:
A likely outcome is two fold.
1: Skull knight waits until Griffith’s shared body is controlled by the Moon Child and cuts down the World Spirit Tree. The tree allows the astral realm and reality to merge. By cutting it down, it prevents Griffith from being able to escape back to the Astral world while trapped in the shared body. Separating the moon child from Griffith would be the next task. If they can’t, the behelit that Guts have could be used to to sacrifice his son and in turn sacrifice Griffith. The ending of Griffith was stated by the Author to be Void as the key. This may mean that Griffith will die when Void answers the call of the egg. The Moon Child would survive because he is only a spirit in astral form. The body created was for Griffith and not the Moon Child.
2: The elves or the eastern mage could separate Griffith and the child after cutting down the tree. A fight would commence between Griffith in the human world and guts. Since Guts can now cut astral bodies with dragon slayer like SK stated, he could kill Griffith now in this state.
Extra: Griffith might be trying to gather all mankind under the tree and sacrifice them all, but not for what you think…The Idea of evil only lives because mankind exists. If he sacrifices them all, the idea of evil would die. Possibly reverting the Godhand back into human beings. This may be why he stole Casca.
Extra extra: What if cutting down the Spirit tree while the moon child controls the body means that during that time Griffith is back in the astral realm, so if the tree is cut during that time it will give the moon child a body and prevents Griffith from taking over the body again.

Extra: Muira was a master storyteller and we don’t know how he’d have achieved the goal of them being happy unless Kouji for real knows how Muira wanted it to end which he claims he does.
My headcanon: Guts and casca live happily together in that forested area. Groffith lives in a state of perpetual boredom in his fake kingdom.

Here is my hot take. I don´t know how but i know Guts will defeat not only Griffith but the entire god hand. As imposible as it may seem, this manga inspired soulsbourne games. The final boss always feels imposible till you see the credits of the game. Guts will win, and it will be glorious and for those who had faith everything will be possible. There is no causality that can´t be broken by will power. Of that im sure.

Nope, what is it that you don’t understand Griffith is untouchable? Be fr unless that Daiba guy gives Guts magical powers than will talk. Maybe he gets to kill one godhand along Skullnight, but then again, SK is using Guts. Just remember one of Miura’s interviews, the biggest threat is VOID. Even if he defeats Griffith and the godhand, this IS Berserk, the ending will be another one of those famous Berzerk gut-punches...my guess is Guts will become the next Skull Knight and Casca will raise their child. It will be bittersweet AT BEST, so prepare your mind.

I’m somewhat new to berserk but here’s My main theory: since History is sort of like a spiral (recurring events but slightly different) Guts is going to realize if he Kills Griffith he kills the moonlight boy. He’s going to remember all he’s done is for Casca and give up his goal for killing Griffith. Griffith is going to try and stop him (like he did when Guts went to follow his own dream) and guts ironically will end up killing Griffith and not having it kill the moonlight boy and him and casca and the moonlight boy will live happily ever after (some say this is too optimistic but Muria said the ending will be happy)
i pray this happens makes no sense for it to be a sad ending the entire story has been sad for the characters if they all end up sad and dead the story would have had zero progression all for nothing and thats just unsatisfactory terrible way to end a great manga if they all end up misreble
I think Griffith will be exorcised somehow from the Moonlight Boy. Falcon of light is still a thing either trough Guts or the Moonlight boy while Femto is revealed to be the falcon of darkness. Both Kushan and Midland/Falconia get decimated during the war as the war will be extremely bloody and would go into legends. This will make a clean slate. I cna even imagine Guts being a kig or at least somewhere close to power after the war ends. Maybe he would end up teaching swordmanship.

I myself think Casca will after some dreadful situation leaves her nearly dead or shattered mentally and emotionally again. That's off course only if "branded" individuals can activate one. What if it’s Guts? And since his life meaning is revenge it’ll turn out that he could offer Griffith due to Guts obsession (also the fact the moonlight child is his). This will come with him also needing to sacrifice everyone he cares about. Also this would mean that Griffith was a false God Hand member used to shatter Gut’s will and he was the true fifth member (making Guts’ child merging with Griffith an event led by the God Hand to give Guts an offer against Griffith). Explaining also why Skull Knight instilled so much interest in him, maybe he knew he could influence Guts to reject the offer. By him rejecting the God Hand’s offer, he would throw of causality and that somehow would have an impact. Probably a really unoriginal idea, but it seems like the most plain and safe option.
It won't be anyone in Guts' party. I can't remember the chapter, but it's confirmed that he's merely carrying the behelit and will eventually deliver it to its owner, though I can't really make a good guess as to whom the right owner is.

They say it is causality correct then there is no destiny. There is no grand design, no script, it is only the choices you make. However since the godhand can see the flow of causality that means they know the past and how it repeats. Since everyone actions are so obvious it makes the god hand seem prescient.
Griffith/Femto let Guts and Casca go during the first eclipse because he still cares about them even if he's rationalizing it as the moon child's feelings. I'm pretty sure the God hand said Griffith needed to sacrifice what he cared about most for his dream but he let what he cared about most leave so causality will take a turn that leads Griffith to the loss of his dream.
Also i think Rickert will be the one to defeat Griffith, that Guts will give up his quest for revenge to be with Casca, as per Skull Knights warning Guts could only accomplish one thing during the next meeting of the God Hand

I've been thinking... Griffith at the end, could "claim" Casca, in one flashback we saw an old rotten Griffith on a wheelchair being fed by Casca, making us think that he made a choice between what he wants(casca), and what he had to do (his kingdom). Raping Casca to me was only mean a revenge due to Guts "betrayal", and a random opportunity to get in to the human world, doing something that was never done before. Therefore I'd assume that Griffith would try and make Guts think of one thing, that since he left Griffith, everything went downfall, making Guts the owner of his own fault. E.g. if Guts would have stayed with him, Guts could stayed with Casca, and Griffith could have his kingdom.Casca is then stuck between hating Griffith as his raper and loving him as his child, unable to sort this issue, both Griffith and Guts will die somehow, leaving Casca alive with a son(moonlight child)!!!!

I believe the answer as to if the god hand manipulated Griffith lies in one of Miura's claim regarding Berserk's end that : Void is the Key
And i believe that resuming the right connections between Void and Gaiseric VS Griffith and Guts throughout Berserk story is the key..
For instance, we don't know much about Void's past but one of the element in his story that striked me the most was :
That 1000 years ago, as the Sage that has been imprisoned, Void is said to have been TORTURED in the TOWER OF CONVICTION before becoming a God Hand..
Who has been tortured 1000 years later for a year in that same TOWER before going into a sacrificial ceremony (?)

What if the Genius of Berserk story was actually to set out an example as to what lies AFTER an ambition that is said to be absolute/narcissistic is set into reality (?)
Once the goal of such ambition is reached and such narcissism gets to this sense of absolute power..
Will it be an eternal 'fantasy' or a nightmare (?)
Once the absolute dream is realized, it can no longer be consider as a dream..
And what dream after the absolute realisation of the greatest dream ever would be greater than the best dream EVER (?).. :
Exactly no such dream exist, NO such THING, or nothing.
Therefore what would unfold after for the one who found himself in such a fantasy is a meaningless life without a dream WORTHY to be ever achieved, a neverending cycle/VOID without the STRUGGLE or the spark/excitement that come with life and being limited..
Notice that by throwing the STRUGGLE out of his life/the story : Femto becoming a nigh-omnipotent being, implicitly immortal (as long as the world tree exist and people believe in him) completely misses the point of what makes a dream worthy to be achieved in the first place : the STRUGGLE that he left to Guts hand..
And Guts actually has nothing to do to win against Femto, as he already won by staying WHOLE to himself while Griffith gave up what makes him whole, his humanity to his ambition but the readers should have realized it sooner..
Guts can win by 'losing' meaning doing nothing and let Femto have his fate resume if he can't step out of his own story..
The genius of Berserk is to show the fate of Narcissism and Absolute Ambition before/in regard to what is considered eternal and to affirm the preeminence of something greater than a story of Absoluty and Power, because if there is an idea of Evil according to the lore of Berserk, there is also an idea of Good, who is greater, that is GOD..

And here is the last scoop, Griffith/Femto has to get out of this neverending 'fantasy' he set out on himself because Guts obviously is human and will one day die (!)
The solution for Femto would be to reconcile with that part of humanity he left behind with Guts and Casca(the moonlight boy)..
Maybe Casca might help Femto through the moonlight boy to recognize the absolute absurdity/foolishness of his goal and that he has in fact already lost terribly against Guts since Griffith gave up the struggle absolutely against that very same destiny(the god hand and behind them Skull Knight endless night of persecution) Guts struggled with..
For that only time(Void)and maybe Casca will make Griffith realize the gravity of his mistake..

All very intriguing, could be possible but I'm skeptical. I'm glad you posted scripture, because imo, Berserk's fatal plothole is the utter absence of the spiritual force for good. It makes ZERO SENSE to me that basically everything running the spiritual dimension in this universe is shades of evil. It doesn't jive with me that a person can trade all of their loved-one's lives/souls for demonic power. Other people's souls are NOT THEIRS to bargain! They can offer THEIR OWN soul up, but somehow being able to sacrifice all these other people and damn their souls to the idea of evil/hell tornado spinning around in the hell dimension, ALL sacrificed without ever having ANY agency or say seems super incomplete to me, and it's pointless.. since there's no Heaven in Berserk, what does anything matter when eventually your soul will just end up a demon or it ends up getting sucked into the Hell Tornado forever? MAYBE something like what you say is coming and God/Heaven is revealed to exist, but so far not a SINGLE WORD in the entire manga has even given a clue this might be the case. It really bothers me that there is no permanent path to redemption in this universe, again it's all just shades of evil.

No. While on Elfhelm Evalera admonishes Shierke and Farnese for waking up *the big boss* during the Corridor of Dreams. The Big Boss...as in...Casca. Casca is the linchpin. Think about it. Casca was the target of rape in the Eclipse, and her malformed boy died and was eaten by the egg of the perfect world which was the direct link Griffith had to return to the human world from the Astral Plane. All of Griffith's abilities to cause major events (aside from Skeleton Knight's goof which triggered the Great Roar of the Astral World) have been through means of Casca. Casca is the last key piece. Diaba and Rickert will help, but it's Casca who is closest to Griffith as of right now in the physical and Astral departments... ( Griffith kidnapped her and brought her home to be with him, what an IDIOT he is😂) and she now has a lot of PTSD and is unhinged in her desires because of her memories of what Griffith did to her. Rather than die, Casca will bring about Griffith's loss of power as a God Hand. Kentaro has curiously kept her *silent but still present* from her last active duties in the Golden Age until now? Why? Because she is how Griffith meets his demise. He has used her *as his sword * one too many times. It will backfire. Watch. Kentaro had Casca up his sleeve.

I like to think, that the battle between Griffith and Guts will end in a similar way, as it did, when Guts left the Band of the Hawk.

I don't think Guts can kill Griffith at all. I am drawing this on what Carl Jung wrote in his Red Book. ( I am sure Miura will have incorporated this notion in his outline).

my hail marry prediction is guts triggers void somehow threatening void causing him to target casca and forcibly demonize her intoan apostille with grifith accomplis to this act. guts loses all control over the dark beast the ensuing massacare of everything in sight friend and foe. pucks the last to fall pleading guts to regain control. guts dies to his wonds activates the balit then eclipse then appears skull knight chooses to merge with guts now apostille himself. guts kills everything else. in the final pages its guts final looking over the destruction he justcaused. sits on the last throne left to sit upon and blows his head off with his eefed up hand canon. all to have it start all over again.
Since Griffith is the cause for the world ending the manga can only end with his demise

I have an idea of something that might of been foreshadowed already, remember that scene were we see Griffith and casca living together with a son named guts? Skull Knight gives the dragon slayer the coating of the sword of actuation. Gutts, becomes the Beast of Darkness, and Rickert or Casca has to pass in order to withstand attacks and defeat the Godhand.
Skull knight had a different " eclipse " transformation that the berserker armor gave him 👌🏼 and griffith f ed up by comming back to human world, that's the mistake he did 👌🏼

I think the World Tree angle is key. Everything could be, as its been stated for the God Hand to be according to the will of that idea of evil god thing that gives the Hand its power. If that thing is in some of the deepest levels of the boundries of reality and creating the world tree from a massive sacrifice merged realities permanently, as an eclipse sacrifice does temporarily, then perhaps everything in Falconia, from the spirits to the apostles to the people are a further sacrifice to force another merger in order to drop the world to the next level and thus closer to the direct domain of evil. What the end goal would be, I don't know.
As for the destruction of the tree, as Griffith was reborn into a human body, although having immense power, cutting of of the tree's influence could have a devastating effect. But, the end state may be even more sinister. They could just be setting the whole thing up for Guts to become some crazy conduit of rage or evil. As everything is taken and taken from him, he slips more and more toward being lost, even before he got the berserker armor. He still carries his behelit and Puck guards it constantly. His whole fall could come at a point where he has to make a decision himself to accept that he can't kill Griffith or give in, at least for a moment for the promise of power for his revenge, sacrificing his crew, Casca and others. He has become so obsessed with revenge, finally got Casca back, lost her without even scratching Griffith, finding out Griffith was also his son in a way.
As far as I know, Guts, Puck and his behelit have been the only things around since the very first chapter with Griffith and the rest of the God Hand not too far behind. I just wonder how they are going to finish this series without the original author if he never told anyone anything.
Griffith is a slave to fate and destiny, Guts is the struggler, i believe hes going to have to sacrifice Casca to destroy the god hand, as even though he doesnt want to, she probably forces him to do so, then when hes at his lowest point, his behilit activates as the opposite of the god hand, he Unwillingly sacrifices and gains the power to destroy them

Griffith manipulates casca (if you have already read 378 you know what i mean)
And casca became a band of the new falcon and tries to kill guts
Guts after a long struggling to make her understand that she made the wrong choice she finally kills her just to survive and griffith kills him once and for all(don t hate me for that) and something tells me after the 364 chapter if im correct he does not want to lose what he has so long story short he understand he s mistakes and that he already had what he wanted and he tries to finish hand of god cuz they manipulated him . Am I hallucinating right?
