GREAT VIDEO - GOOD CONTENT - SIMPLE DEMO TESTING WAS GREAT
Glad you liked it!
Nice review.
Thanks!
That’s real good, but I would like to see it on an actual power station, and see if it pulls the wattage as your meter
I can make a video for that. 👍
Under a load- it may drop to around 300-320 watts output...which is still good.
@@davehimlin2374 Going to make a quick update for with it under load. To show some of the numbers
thanks for the video. i ordered this panel yesterday for a single panel on my rv. my bank flagged for fraud. so hopefully this goes through because i like the weight of this panel since i am tongue heavy. do i need an in line fuse with just this panel alone?
May not be required but I would be on the safe side and have one. It will not hurt and if you every have some kind of short that could protect you.
Not at $600 per panel, I got mine locally for around $180 per panel, what a rip.
Should be less than $500 with the discount. Not everyone has local sales available and for a single panel shipped it is not a bad price. Definitely not for all situations but for a single panel type use it can work.
Exactly. Not at that price. I am looking for 400w panels and I only want 6 so lots of 10 don't work for me but that would be much cheaper than buying 6 at the individual price.
Looks like great numbers but i have not been pleased with the output of my 200w bouge rv bifacial panels. At best i only get about 80% efficiency plugged into my power station. My Harbor Freight panel will get 100% consistently. I expected more from the Bouge RV panels.
My 400 watt panel has been much better than the 200 watt bifacial panel. Not sure why when they have 16 busbars and should be more efficient. The cells must be different
how does it perform in hot summer weather. 103f degrees here. ?
I will need to verify since I haven’t specifically tested it since the video. I have used it but just randomly to charge solar generators.
What are the dimensions of that panel? I am interested in a smaller single panel with smaller dimensions.
It is 67.9x44.7 inches.
@@rodneyhunt Thank you so much.
Glad to help! It is a nice panel with great output
Hi, Would you tell me how thick the penal is? thank you.
1 3/8 inch
Those are kinda pricey, I'm not seeing the value there. I just picked up 8 Hyundai 305W panels from Signature Solar for $110 each.
I just got a pallet of those lol. How did you get 8? Pickup. The bougerv panel would be good for someone needing delivery of 1 to a few panels in my opinion. The price includes shipping for each individual panel. Just an option for those needing it.
@@rodneyhunt Yeah, I'm about an hour away from them. I am going to use them for an EG4 solar mini split. I hope you will review the Hyundai panels sometime, I enjoy your videos.
For sure
you got 398 watts without any load applied ? My canadian solar 400 watt panels, get 325 watts output in ideal conditions, when it is connected to charge my solar generator. Thats about 82% of rated output.
Oh nice! 👍
