NaviLens App: Better than Barcodes, Clearer than QR!

- Today, Cory and Luke are discussing the FREE NaviLens app, which has been making waves in the industry by successfully partnering with a number of major brands like: Kellogg's, Olay, Pantene, Coca-Cola, Gillette, Oral-B and many more! But don't be fooled! This app is much more than simple product identification!
The real potential of NaviLens comes from the codes themselves which can be detected much more easily and from a far greater distance than both QR or Barcodes. This is especially convenient for those with a visual impairment because it means you do not need to line up your phone's camera perfectly in order to sense the code. Once detected, the app guides you towards that code, making it a reliable navigational aid as well.
But the usefulness does not end there! New NaviLens codes can be printed off from their website in any size and labeled for personal use in the home. There is no limit to the amount of text information you can assign to a code. Better yet, NaviLens preset printable codes can make it easier to accommodate the visually impaired by labeling important signage with preset codes such as: bathroom, stairs, recycling bin, water bottle filling station, etc. These preset codes are easy to print out and post up so as to help any smartphone user to interact more easily with their environment in places such as subway stations, bus stops and museums, public buildings or special event centers.

We are implementing NaivLens at our university inside and outside buildings to provide useful detailed location info for both sighted and blind/low vision individuals

We use NaviLens codes at my school and I currently attend a school for the blind. We’ve actually done this so students can locate buildings on campus.

I'm interested in an outdoor use case. What can you tell me about the maximum distance for Navilens to identify the code using the largest code format?
We were able to identify from 20 to 25 feet away, but to get an exact answer you would be better asking the company who make Navilens

Yes, you can download the app anywhere and request codes through the app, which are then mailed to you and you can print them out.

Unfortunately you can't run the Real Sam on any phone, you have to buy a phone from them
I really appreciate your content. Could you please keep the backing music to a minimum. It is very distracting and generally WAY TOO LOUD. If you feel the need to brand yourself with some music please limit it's use to intro, outro and interim transitions segments. PLEASE, PLEASE. I'm visually impaired and am barraged with SO MUCH audio in order to use lots of assistive tech. Meaningless noise that obscures meaningful audio content is EXHAUSTING!
