Does Christ have an enforcement mechanism for His authority over His bride?

In order to get to a place where you believe that it is scriptural for a husband to "rule" his wife, you must disregard so much of what scripture plainly says and teaches.
Husbands who cling to the traditional idea that men must *rule* their wives go contrary to Jesus example, to Paul's teaching, and are guilty of practicing and promoting the the curse of Genesis 3 (and calling evil good in doing so). They are grasping at their idea of the glory of manhood (yet even Christ didn't grasp at his equality with God in His service to his people..see Philippians).
Mutually practicing the "one anothers" of scripture is a beautiful way to elevate all relationships--including marriage. And then Mr. Leeman and other husbands won't be tempted to abuse their authority because they'll have to grasp the fact that we're all called to serve one another.
