Now there's a weird idea for an anime...Ferry Wars! All about the competition in the overnight transport industry. On the one side you have the Hankyu Armada and the power of their Endless Announcement, but rolling across the water is the dread battlecry, 'Sunflower!, Sunflower!' :-)

On the third attempt when it was leaning, I was hoping you would use the claw machine to flip the Funeko over, causing it to fall in the bin. That could've been a good strategy.

Concerning these older ferry boats you can still see them in the Philipinnes. I took two ferries there and the vessels were made in Japan as I could see. On the rear deck they reformed it to have covered sleeping decks for second (third) class overnight bunk beds with plenty of open air ventilation. I took the airconditioned business class and also stayed in a cabin. They' re still going strong there!
Matter of fact, two of Hankyu Ferry's ships, the previous Yamato and the Tsukushi now sail for the leading ferry line in the Philippines, 2GO Travel as the 2GO Maligaya and the 2GO Masagana, respectively.

Ferries and the shinkansen were my favorite way to travel in japan. Highway buses are also great
I think Funeko ended up exactly where it started except flipped over. You gave it a nice trip around its enclosure.

For such a new vessel, that entrance hall is less than impressive. Some others have been understated by design, but that one? I found nothing to praise. With so many vehicles waiting, you ought to have NOT been surprised at the numbers in the restaurant queue.
