I actually saw Dick Dale at Dr. Rockit's in Corpus Christi about... maybe 15 years ago or more? It was a while back. could be 20 years. Interesting this surf type song from the 60's. Now, everyone who hears it thinks of the Pulp Fiction movie. I didn't realize until I saw him live he actually played the trumpet. he would play guitar, then swing it behind his back and pick up the trumpet. Crazy.
I played drums in a surf band for a little while and loved playing this and so much of his other stuff.
