God that thing sounds so good. The K20/K24 is the best sounding 4cyl ever made, in my opinion, and the 8th gen Si is its best implementation. New to your channel and I love your enthusiasm, but give yourself a break because your driving is fine- believe in yourself!
For real. You drive better than me. I got my 8th Gen a year ago. First manual. I was scared to redline my car for like the first 10 months. I’ve only redlined a handful of times Bc I don’t want to break anything lmao. But when I do my shifts are jerky as hell at high RPMs. Any tips for launching/doing pulls ?
Looks like you needed a clutch disk after that... Changed mine a couple of days ago and it really makes the shifting a lot smoother and ofcourse you feel the difference while accelerating! You get that lovely kick while shifting up the gears on high revs! Cheers from Greece! 💪🙌

I think your launch RPM is set too high for street. Too much wheel spin... On a strip it would likely work with warmer tires and sticky asphalt, but you should try somewhere between 3.5K - 4K. It will still spin a bit, but will hook up earlier and let you take 1st gear to redline without spinning all the way there. BTW, your driving and shifting is absolutely fine!
Time to remove Clutch Delay Valve and extend the shifter pole up so your body/arm can be in a natural position when you are shifting (6:21, 6:24, 7:21, 7:31, 7:41, 7:52, 8:04, 8:22) ;) Thanks for the video.
Ported rbc to match a ktuned 72mm DBW throttle body, RDX injectors and a tune will liven up the car. that was the setup i had in my 8th gen and shoutout to the NB homies. Clean 8th gen!

Its fine where its at. Just dont dump the clutch thats the thing that everyone does they rev high and dump the clutch
4k is good, especially if you have VTEC at 4k with FP
