At Vedder Mountain I wear Italian-made Cofra Thermic protective boots. Which were designed and manufactured in Eastern Europe for post- thermonuclear conditions. Multiple colors were issued free to Spetsnaz and heavy industry civilians were provided boots only in an orange color. To deter liquidation when seen from afar by their military. I ordered an orange pair out of Eastern Europe. These days I wear the solid black color ordered out of New York State for $$$ a pair. Waterproof and cushioned armor in a pull-on knee-boot. With big mud lugs. .
Thanks for sharing. What a struggle. I'm now definitely trading in my KLR for Beta 500 RS. If a WR250 can make it to Alaska. I'm sure the Beta will have no problems getting me to my destination.
Heck of a tough set of trails, particularly for the bigger rigs. Seeing this makes me think of a DR250 or 350 for real off-road riding rather than risking my CapoNord. Appreciate your commentary, too!
I hope you lads realize how lucky you are to have this as your riding area. Simply amazing scenery at every turn. Really nice editing on the vids BTW and no music mucking up stuff. What cam are you using?
Thanks for the comment. Ive seen some nice scenery from your part of the world as well. Im currently running a single GoPro 3 but id love to add some more cameras in the future
This was 9 years ago. More recently the US Border Patrol did 2 things with respect to their area of responsibility. That area is anyplace within 100 moles of the US Border. They do not need a court order to search private property. The first thing this section of the US Border got was ATV's. To go where 4x4 cannot. And parked just off the nearest paved street to Vedder Mountain , atop the exit road from Vedder Mountain, the US Border Patrol eyes all passer-by. Waiting to stop suspicious people and identify same, I don't know if this video had anything to do with all said on this day of 2023.

Nice video. Personally found the commentary hilarious.
Do you run a fork brace by chance?
Do you find the damper you have installed really helps with that type of riding?
