The lower ball joints require a factory press to install easily. The engine will be a direct swap you won't have to move trans or replace drives haft, exhaust won't work and I can't member if radiator and oiler cooler lines are the same. You will also need a glow plug wiring harness.

I love old German cars, have had many. If your brother wanted something cheaper, that was NOT the way to go. LOL
