With the bubble box u should cut the wires from a usb cable on the phone end part of it and use the red and black wires to power the bubble box via usb u can make a battery I usually just 3D print one then use 2 screws
I don't think you can test the buoyancy that way. The water is pushing up on the objective while the object is pushing down on the water. The net weight would be the same. You should test the weight from above without the weight touching the bottom. That will give you the difference between the actual weight and the weight loss due to buoyancy. Love your channel. Thanks for all the great info.
Yeah, that's why the weight didn't change in the water. Gotta use one of those scales that you hang your fish on, just tie some line to the weights, hang the weight on the scale, then drop the weight in the water. That will give the "in water" weight
Whoever invented that paddle needs the noble prize. (That's a grade above the nobel prize.) 😂 I have an old craftsman riding mower that i de-saftied and quit buying a battery for it. I just use one of those jump starters to start it, since it will continue mowing if you dismount it, so you only have to start it one time. Everybody is still alive with all their fingers and toes. 😂
Awww heck. I just made dragging weights at home tonight. Never checked the floating weight. Especially once u add the peg float near the hook. Luv the updates, Keith. Thanks man
Congratulations on the 300k subscribers milestone. It is well deserved, and the channel only gets better and better..... Awesome...... Joe, Augusta, GA
1:50 " but we not gonna talk about that " LOL! as a minnesotan......i totally know about that when you fish with your aunt and she catches the biggest fish off the dock while fishing with the kids while grand dad and the uncles and dad are out in the boat walleye and pike fishing only getting 3-4 pounders
On the pump, that’s a check valve it’s used to keep the water from backing into your pump. It’s big for aquarium owners who have the air pump lower than the tank. I always use them for my bubble boxes as insurance. They do come in handy
Rechargeable Bubble Boxes are the way to go. Been using mine for 2 years, awesomeness. You save money on batteries (priced D cell batteries lately?) and no corrosion over the winter. And, if you got a usb socket on your boat, you always got a working bubble box. Just MAKE SURE you pull your bubble box out of your bucket before handing your bucket to the "minnow lady", cause she left my bubble box in the bucket, filled it with minnows AND water, and it has not worked right since (on/off button works intermittent now). My bad I guess but dang!
That Paddle Pump is a double duty life saver! Unless you gotta bildge the boat out, while having to paddle? But still, a great idea! And trust me, you always need a paddle! Really two, because you typically fish with a buddy!
Well, Keith, you done it again, those are all good. I like all these things. I really like the new boosters, every vehicle aught to have one. I gotta say, i didnt know they had rechargeable bubble boxes. Gonna have to go check them out. Anyone that has an aquarium needs one of those, power goes out - electric pump aint going to work either. Battery pump jas saved my tank more than once. Your rechargeable bug zapper would be great for night time bank fishin, tie a string on it and wear it around your neck. Less swatting = more fishin !!! Keep up the great work, brother. God bless ya'll and stay safe out there.
The paddle bit was funny. The battery jump starters at harbor freight are AHWESOME! I have 5 of them, and you can start a diesel with it. They're about $80.
I built a very similar style baitfish trap about 10yrs ago. It wasn't quite as big as yours as I like bait on the smaller side. Great minds think alike. Tight lines from Alabama.
This is a hard one to explain but you can't measure the buoyancy in that way. It will always be the same. If you add to Ping pong balls that weight 1 ounce they will add one ounce of weight to the water. You have to measure the downward pulling force of the weight once submerged in the water. Out of the water the total force is pulling down. In the water the water will exert a small force upward for lack of a better term.
Thank you. Glad I am not the only one scratching their head over this. If he could suspend the weight on a line, with the line to a scale (like for fishing...) he could get the weight in water.
I tried to get to ya a couple months back at the Kentucky catfish and crappie conference. You had a couple guys talkin with you. Love you videos, Keep’em coming!
Hello Keith, Great channel. Found it about 3 weeks ago ,thanks for all the info and all the giggles and laughs : I,m just sayn lol , keep the vids comin be safe from Alberta
The solar bug zapper is a great idea! We have a LOT of bugs that like to bite you here in Australia! I have a jump starter pack & never go offshore without it. 👍
Buoyancy and weight are two entirely different realms. You still had all the weight of the floatng weight in the pitcher of water, so it has to weigh that amount, no matter what. Just saying! LOL
I can vouch for the Power Brick. Everyone in my family owns one, and I own two. Fun fact: It can jump start a car several times, but it can also jump start a small plane! Only once though LOL
I'll say that the lithium battery jump boxes are really amazing. The standard type one I have would do three dead, dead car battery jumps before it needed recharging when new. The lithium one did four and it still showed 80% battery remaining. It's about the same size as the bigger one he showed. Plus it really seems to hold a charge after sitting long term. A great item just to have in your vehicle as an insurance policy, having the peace of mind that I can at least get my car started in an emergency and get somewhere safe.
Hey BILLY, good evening look I made some dragon weights and I took them down to the pond and the best thing I could catch with it was some crabs, They’re caught no dragons. I think you’re selling false advertisement. Have a good evening.😂😂😂
@@FishinNStuff well that’s probably the only reason why I’m not getting any then and Billy i never said I R Smart anyway I see👀 you later on Billy good bye and good night 🌙💤 to
Just had to jump start my boat out on the water, sitting for two hours with depth finder on, all the gadgets with a portable compact jump starter just like you showed. Looks like my three way battery charger is missing my main starting battery. Going to have to dig into that issue. Good tips.
I got two off of amazon and it has two modes . You can out it on constant mode or intermittent. It lasts 8hrs on constant and 16 hours on intermittent . They also have two bubble stones on them.
Watching you Hacks today. And really like the rechargeable bubble box. Saw this ya may like, vengeance air stone. Believe it will work better then the one that come with it as it sits on the bottom of the tank. Ya know what I mean…😂
Nice, you can also convert your existing Aerator from a standard battery to a lithium battery for under 5 dollars. just need an 18650 battery holder, an 18650 battery, and an optional tp4056 charging module.
Ha ha ha ha ha you got a new subscriber here!! Just one side piece or note whatever you wanna call it. Mass is mass so if you have a bucket of water and you add a float to it, there is more weight added to the bucket of water. I just feel like I needed to clear that up because did I miss something in the presentation? Am I getting this wrong or were you making a joke? Lol I'm going to rewatch it now and see if I missed something anyway just wanted to point that out very funny I like your way of doing things .

Sorry, i love the videos, but i have to correct you on the weights. Weight is weight. It does not change. Buoyancy has to do with density of material and displacement of liquid.
To correctly test the weights for buoyancy, weigh the weight, weigh the water, now support the fishing weight from above with a fishing line, and dunk it into the water, without touching the bottom of the container. No matter what size weight you use, if it free resting on the bottom of the container, the Total weight will always equal, Water+Weight+Container, any difference you see doing it that way is the +/- Tolerance of your scale.
