I really like this one a lot. It adds a bit of variety to their sound and when heavy bands who don't normally use symphonic backing mix that in too, it makes it feel even more epic
Berzerk is fantastic both to read and watch, though it does deal with a lot of dark imagery, themes, and situations which is what makes it so perfect for metal!
Didnt know what to think the first time, not what i wanted out of stp. But the song has grown on me so much! Especially with the powerful anime berzerk linked to it! Its Alex favorite!
Hell yeah man thanks for this! The orchestral strings in the background remind me of Kashmir - Led Zeppelin a bit. It is nice to see Slaughter to Prevail go in a new direction too
Hoping to get more songs like this from Slaughter to Prevail. Stepping out of their comfort zone with the strings, and the cleans. LOVED the cleans because they were still layered on top of his screams. Ive only heard Alex go true "clean" once, on a Pantera cover. He doesnt like doing cleans, he knows its not his strong point. Some bands are happy staying in their lane, staying on a predictable path musically, and thats fine, but I prefer when bands experiment a little and explore and show us what they can really do.
