The reason for the black being pretty empty. Has 3 reasons. 1.the time was pretty late close to mainstage shows. 2. It was really hot inside the tent. 3. They had an uptempo stage so a bit double IMO. For instance Spitnoise is very hyped up at the moment but he also played at the black with not to many people compared to yellow.

I don't think hardstyle was even a thing in 2000. I remember going to plenty of raves from 99 to 2003 it was house music, jungle, drum and bass, trance those were the main ones. Pretty sure it was called hard-core back then and it was mostly garbage noise with chipmunk voice. Hardstyle today is levels above what it used to be. Im not saying I like all the types but it's definitely better than what it used to be. I remember happy to be hard-core that cd literally made me hate hard-core all by itself.
