Bro ended last split with his first account on rank 1 and his second account on rank 2 and is 50% winrate in Dimond 1 now I think from that perspective he is kinda low right now lol
"Low" is a comparison term. You can't have low without a high. Just like you can't have short without tall. They are relative. And well for him he is 2000LP lower than he was a week ago. Think of that in terms of normal ranks. 2000lp above silver 4 is master 0lp. 2000lp above that is rank 1 challenger. So yeah thinking of it that way I think you can understand why he considers it low ELO for himself.
@@jurivjerdha2467 I don't understand what your point is? Are you saying that diamond 1 is not low elo? Because I agree from my perspective diamond 1 is not low elo, I'm just trying to explain why it would be low elo for someone like Agurin from his perspective. I tried to quantify this by showing an example of the difference between ranks in terms of LP not number of players. Are you counter acting my point? I am confused.
mr. agurin, neeko jungle main over here (one trick almost),did you know that you can swap body with your marksman to get more base attack speed while you are clearing? ps. finally some challenger players who spread the neeko jungle's word!
I started the season with 3 wins and 12 losses. The opponent Team always has a higher Elo than my team. Every game Inter, Troller or Afks. In the meantime i am at least 14 to 16. I started in Silver 2 as Emarald 2 player. That was funny. Not!
I wonder if one of the reasons that agurin is struggling rn has to do with power being shifted out items and resulting in champions’ innate strenghts and weaknesses mattering more. Like in that first game, before this patch it would have been a cleaner, more one sided game given how ahead agurin’s team was but since they had mostly dive, “hard engage”, champs into mostly brawling, “hold your ground”, champs the innate Rock Paper Scissors (dive/brawl/poke) dynamic made the game significantly harder in-spite of them being so ahead. Idk maybe I’m wrong, there can be 50 other reasons why that game was hard but as a gm overwatch player I feel like that dive/brawl/poke dynamic (that’s well known in ow) isn’t rly talked about in league even tho I feel it matters just as much as in ow, even more so now that you can’t bypass innate disadvantages as easily by just getting ahead-> getting more gold -> buying more stats. Tldr; items matter less so getting ahead doesn’t cancel out draft disadvantages as much. Idk i’m shit at league.
Your thinking is pretty good, but it's actually just that you can't use your muscle memory from high quality games in this low elo. You can't trust the players and the knowledge is just not there. People are often struggling in low dia/emerald elo even if they are normally Masters 100lp and more. I have sometimes difficulties in low elo too even when in high elo games, my gameplay is pretty good (I would say) and I am usually carrying, but in low elo the game is much harder for me to win until I change my playstyle a little bit an start playing a little bit "dumb". So idk maybe you are right but for me and my high elo friends is this the thing. I also heard that from streamers or even from pro players. But I think your opinion makes sense and it's a thing that matters now too propably.
@@Chungus_Maximusi get what you’re saying (I’ve experienced it myself smurfing in ow) but is that what’s happening here? Like every high mmr player I’ve seen was placed diamond after reset; I mean he has nemesis in his team lol. Surely thats not what’s happening unless master/diamond players were also placed in diamond post reset. Pretty sure agurin is either struggling because he got an unlucky lose streak (and maybe that affected his mental) or there’s something about the new patch that fundamentally changed stuff about the game and he’s struggling to adapt to it. I could be wrong but I don’t think this is a “low elos” can’t follow type of situation if all the high elo players are also diamond rn (unless diamond players are also put in diamond post reset; in which case wtf riot)

You can dive on double stacked waves at around high masters/gm onwards (assuming one person on lane). If you didn't know vlad was high elo, you would never have pathed for this dive.
It might not necessarily be reliable in lower elo, but in this specific instance the ally wave is stacked and he has a Vlad. Vlad is great to tower dive with, he can tank a few shots and use W to de-agro the turret. Importantly, he also sees Zac pathing down on the raptor ward so he knows that Zac will not be topside or shadowing the Casio to protect her - this makes it a certain 2v1 and seals the deal for a perfect opportunity. Vlad attacks and tanks turret > Vlad + J4 full combo and kill Cassio > Vlad immediately Ws and the turret resets to hit minions while J4 js under it. Then, Casio loses the huge wave that was stacked under the tower, setting the stage for a huge lead in topside. Recognizing this wave state and the following sequence is why he was immediately interested in the gank - it's a very impactful play based on a lot of crucial information.
Dives are made easier by 2 things. Big wave -> gives you more time to position and set up under the tower before taking aggro. Someone who can reset/ drop tower aggro. This is unlikely to work in lowers elos because people in lower elos 1-Don't know how to dive(who should tank, how long for, who should start the engage, drop aggro to reset tower damage and for a re-dive), 2-If you don't know how to dive then you will fail the execution of it before even starting. Then you need to understand wave states so you can be at the right place at the right time. Another thing is knowing who can be there/ what you might lose. Using this as a checklist. Understanding wave state here 1:12 tells you that the wave is pushing to the enemy and will crash if vlad doesn't let cassio touch it. Cassio can't touch it because she is 50% HP and is a level down, and will be fighting into a bigger wave (losing on 3 fronts for wave control). This means the wave will be crashing. Due to the location of the next wave and state of the current wave it will crash/ half-crash before the next wave or as the next wave arrives (half-crash). Even if vlad last hits (pushes as slow as possible). This means that J4 needs to skip two camps instead of doing 1 then going on the next wave. So he has to go instantly. Thus he skips red and krugs. We can also see that there is basically a full HP cannon. Cannons from memory takes around 8 tower shots to kill. -> gives a lot of time for the dive if needed (basically means you aren't as rushed so you make less mistakes and the person who is tanking can leave after the person is dead and it will retarget onto minions) Vlad W can drop tower aggro and reset the tower damage if need -> makes it even easier to dive. Vlad is duoed with Agurin I believe, so Agurin trusts him more than usual to correctly play the dive. Vlad SHOULD be the first to tank because of his w aggro reset. I sort of went over wave state before. We know zac's pathing due to the useful ward at enemy raptors. Clearing towards botside. -> he can't be there. Enemy mid laner COULD have tp'ed technically looking at the minimap around when the dive happens it looks like ezreal has pushed yone under tower meaning that he wave will bounce back to him if he leaves it. It's easy to cancel the dive though when the tp comes as they will have 4 seconds to leave. And it's Solo Q so ezreal either doesn't care or doesn't even know the dive is happening. So he isn't in position to TP insta. Next what does he lose for this? He was clearing up so there is nothing for zac to take botside. Ok is there anything else for zac? Possibly dive bot or mid. Bot is hard as he has zeri yuumi into lucian nami. Good peel and cc vs no CC from zeri or yuumi. But zac has passive for tower reset. Zeri was too low so it was hard for zac to dive plus no wave because lucian nami thinned it. So it's unlikely that he can dive bot. Thinking of all of this it seems like a no brainer. But that's a lot of things to "think" about don't you think? And indeed I would agree. If you are clearing upwards and you saw this and assuming your top is competent would you have seen this? Because I probably would not have. Why? Because I suck. But for real it's because this was some priming himself to some potential ideas and then letting his intuition decide with some thinking of course. League is so fast paced because of things like this where the speed of decision is almost as important as the decision itself. Even in this scenario. Let's say he looked top, saw that he could dive but wasn't sure. Thought about it, while thinking he started hitting red. Then he looked at the wave, then he was like yeah it's doable. Those 5-10 seconds that he spent thinking and deciding could make the dive much harder as the wave would have been thinned out by then. He has learnt this information over thousands of games and when he sees something that in his mind is guaranteed then of course he will go for it instead of afk farm. It get's vlad so much further ahead denying xp and gold. Doesn't ruin his tempo too much for his respawned camps either. Developing this can happen slower or faster depending on if you review. Like I said league is a fast paced game where you can't stop and think. So reviewing can help you develop this intuition and game sense faster because you can slow down to weigh the decisions. Same with even fights and skirmishes. If you don't slow down to review where you maybe used an ability to fast or didn't anticipate the enemy flashing forward to kill you, then you might think for a couple of seconds "wow didn't expect that. I should watch out for it next time", but you will not be able to understand why. Why didn't you expect it? Why did the enemy do it? Why was it winning or losing play for them? If you ask why and understand a possible why then you will be able to expect things before they happen. (This can happen intuitively over a long enough time). Why did nautilus flash on me here. I was out of position. I'm the fed member of the team. The baron is up. There can be so many reasons. So it really matters to get into the specifics. I hope this break down helped I may have missed some things and probably did not articulate and structure everything optimally, but I hope that you can still understand the overall picture. If anyone wants to correct me go for it. Once again I was to emphasize I'm not that good at the game, and this isn't hard to do. All you have to do is slow down and think. Anyone Emerald+(possibly) depending on how much they know about the game could probably break this down and list out the reasons they may know or intuitively feel this was a good play. That's the easy part. How many of them (me included) would actually have made the same decision at the SAME speed. That's the difference. And this is just one decision. Maybe someone would not have even gathered the information of the push into the crash and therefore even if they had the game knowledge of knowing that a dive is possible they wouldn't even be making the decision because they didn't gather the information. Long read I know.
