I don’t think James will wear it as much to justify this price (cause we all know our Practical James) but if he genuinely thinks he’d wear it a lot to keep cost per wear reasonably low - then he defo should keep it! (Don’t get me wrong, it looks good!) And I’m really excited to see more videos like this in the future!!! xx

Monika with high end fashion there are many arguments as to why it’s worth it.
1.) they are made in factories where people are paid decent wages and child labour is not used. That in and of itself increases the price where a store like ASOS uses child labour and pays people terribly low wages.
2.) Artistic integrity - high end brands are run and have their clothing designed by experts and professionals, some who even have degrees in fashion design. What normally happens is luxury brands spend millions on research to come up with new ideas, only for H&M, ASOS and the rest to wait for what they do and then copy it. So when you say you can find it at ASOS, the reason is always because fast fashion brands always copy luxury brands.
3.) Materials - High End Brands use better and more durable materials. Don’t fade after years of washing, some pieces even improve with time.
4.) Resellability - A piece from ASOS that has been used for years will be faded and will have virtually no value and will probably end up in a landfill. All the high end pieces I own, I resell them to other people for the price I bought them for, slightly less, or in cases where the item is sold out I can sell it for way more than I bought it for.
These are a few points to consider when thinking about whether it’s worth it or not. It’s not as black and white as you think

You are still paying for the label. And yes, i said he can buy similar sweat on asos. But its true, he can. I know some shops from where i bought something for low price and i still have it (still as new) and i bought it 10 years ago. It depends on how do you take care of your clothes too. And now to what i really wanted to say:
i thought about it and i still wouldnt buy these pieces... The price for one sweat is 650. These prices are (no joke) higher then the monthly wage in my country (if you are working in company ((and thats what many people does))) I would rather spend that money on clothes made only for me for less! Here you are not only paying for the material and work but for the brand too. I would rather pay someone who can make that for me for less money and i would only pay for work and material. Its cool to have brand things but isnt it too much? You can sell your specially made dress (for example) too it will be better piece then your brand one, wouldnt be? Thats only my opinion. That is yours. Im not against buying it if you have money and you want brand label on it. But for me it has no value. Im against child labour, im against using any human being for work or something else. Im supporting charities and im not ashamed about what i wrote.
But thank you for reacting 😊 now i can really see that humanity is not lost and that you are not supporting any type of using and i think that is really beautiful ❤️ (and you are a good business human too 😅)
Monika the pieces that they bought are expensive and too brandy. I think it’s worth it to buy different designers that are less or more expensive. In every designer garment they have different silhouette, detailing, and the inside is beautiful as the outside. I have a pair of CK205 boots and I went on Internet and see Asos pair of boots that are copying from CK205, I genuinely feel sad, but I can tell the different immediately.

TheBoringLifeOfRayane indeed! I buy designer stuff because 1 i love it. 2 if you have the money to buy it, do it. And 3 the quality is amazing 9/10 times. I got shoes and bags from lv/ gucci for over 7 years and they still look amazing.

Of course they look better in pics on the internet if the people in the pics actually have proper fit bodies that work with the shoes. Not only that but his style does not go at all with the sneakers, he should've worn something else, different pants and shirt. I don't understand why you'd go ahead and spend this much money without thinking of how you're going to style them first.

You're so like me and my husband who cant justify the cost of designer when theres cheaper and nicer looking clothes for less😅 James had me in fits of laughter on more than one occasion😂😂 I'd say no to keeping it purely because its pricey and the fear of getting it dirty or damaged would send me insane and I know James is very practical 😂🙈

i think the hoodie looked really good on james! i liked the color a lot and it fit really well BUT realistically if you don’t feel you’ll wear it, then it would be a waste. I get where you’re coming from because it’s too nice to wear how you’d normally wear a hoodie but it is meant to be casual. if you feel you would be able to casually wear it multiple times and be comfortable then it’s definitely worth it!

BUT i do not think it’s worth £650. i think that you can get a very similar one for MUCH MUCH less. although, if james likes the way he looks/feels in it and thinks it is worth it, than it is entirely up to him and he should keep it. third of all, i love you guys and you are my favorites!! Okay I can't get over how weirdly similar my husband and I are to you guys...we got married like 3 weeks before you guys did, we have been together for 5 years before we got married, my husband's name is James, both of them have the same shoe sizes, I have the same shoe size, jeans size, and all around clothing size as Carys and we are the same height....guys we are truly meant to be!!!! 😱
The shoes were straight up blooming ugly I don’t get all the hype. The most expensive thing I have ever bought is a pair of $100 Nikes when it comes to shoes and clothes. My used coach purse I only paid less than $100 for. I have 4 pair of Guess shoes and paid $20 a piece for them. They do have designer used websites you can get things much cheaper at if you really like it that much.
You can put that money into your house and have a turn around on investment.

In my opinion if you have the money and that’s what you want to spend it on, it’s your choice BUT the item should be nice not just paying for the name . Both sets of trainers looked 3 sizes bigger than they should be , the t shirt looked like they had saved money on not buying the proper length . I like James but that T-shirt was ridiculous on him . Carys sweatshirt i would buy for slopping around the house in but not costing that much . the rucksack ,i wouldn’t keep it but would consider it . In my opinion everything was so plain and basic with just the advertisement of the name . Which nobody can agree on how to,pronounce it .

Although the quality is very nice, I don‘t believe it‘s worth this hilarious amount of money. It‘s waaay too simple and not to be offending whatsoever I believe the fit of it was just like any other hoodie. Nothing special to me.
