I love that they added more healing for undead. Hated to twiceborn mages when they would sometimes be mute or feebleminded. Almost all of my blesses have Mending Bones :D
@@BabelBuilder I mainly play casual singleplayer so I have nothing competitive but Mending Bones can easily be a part of any bless because its so cheap. Of course it works best with nations like Sceleria with old grand thaumaturgs that you twiceborn so they have much better stats and 'live' long. The best thing is Dom 6 Lichcraft with sacreds cause mute and feebleminded liches were pointless, so now a grand thaumaturg lichcrafting himself with mending bones are truely awesome. My new favorite nation is MA Ashdod with bless that has regeneration for Anakites who come with magic weapons and then mending bones for all the Zamzummites and most summons. They also have some angel summons that can heal living so all in all long life for all :D
Rhuax is greek for "lava flow" which is probably the reference here as it is one of the names of the Kings of Elemental fire and they all have Greek names - thus the pronunciation would be Grecian
I missed the stream, was going to comment about Shadow Empire when the Starsector topic came up 😂 I enjoy it a lot, but for sure it is difficult to make content for.
For my own content consumption, I still prefer old school Let's Plays, but they just don't work on YT anymore. Streaming has basically supplanted them. I could do the same content on both and no one will watch the LP through. :( So, I gotta learn how to stream if I want to bring games like that to the channel. 1% better every stream!
Thanks! I was worried it was going to be too easy when I saw the 3 cave thrones+no cave nation to fight with, but it turned out okay! I do need to remember to put a cave nation in on future cave runs though!
Hey, how would you kill stack of blood bound, blood surge and enchanted blood burning ones? Currently playing first multiplayer game as Yomi and Abysia is the only neighbor i don't have any real strat against.
Ethereal will help you stay in the fight longer, cold will weaken their firepower bonus...maybe look into death evo spells, or other magic attacks as you might have better odds then with physical attacks. Frozen heart spam if you can get the mages required. Are you hot or cold Yomi?
I'm hot Yomi and i'm building infrastructure on ichtyid shaman hut. i was thinking on dispossesed spirits and evocations or, if i'm lucky to break into water with spectral mages, spam gelatinous cubes to eat all of them in one turn. Or long term rigor mortis+ skelly spam.@@BabelBuilder
Hot Yomi is the only Yomi. My plan is either million dispossessed spirits or, if i'm lucky with specter randoms, million gelatinous cubes.@@BabelBuilder
I'd argue it'd be worth spending some gems to protect your blood hunter - especially when you use fire gems to make gold to pay for making new ones. If you make some dragon armour and helmet you only need to spend those fire gems gems once. You also lose additional time moving the new warlock into the province you want to hunt in if they keep getting killed. I also think items that provide a retinue would be more reliable than bodyguards. Most noteworthy "a handful of acorns" in construction 3 which gives you three vine men. Another thought on gear for blood hunters: Those closed space combats where enraged farmers try to bum rush your warlock go rather quickly. Thus, I think it should be no problem to clad your warlock into high encumbrance armour like blacksteel full plate - no need to restrict yourself to typical mage gear . Oh, and I prefer you turning on the dominion candles for the map as you did in the other streams.
In retrospect, you are right. Those were some of the laziest body guards I have ever seen! One of those retinue items would probably be the right level of investment.
Although i love the design and the concept of the game, my main beef with this game is how ridiculious the micromanagement is, and it is ironic for me to say this as i am a huge rts fan. Its like, i don't want to micro 40 mages and their equipment and gems each god damn turn. I don't want to recruit 100 troops from the 10 forts i have and bring a commander to them to ferry them to the frontline EVERY SINGLE TURN. I don't want to manually do the battle formations 20 different armies i have on the map, i don't want to select what each of my 40 mages should cast each battle. It is just tedious and gets the fun out of the game. I can't get myself to play this game after 20 turns because of this. Do you guys know of any mods that alleviate the horrific micromanagement problem this game has? I can't just play the game anymore.
Ironically, thinking of the game as an auto-battler, helped me to come to terms with the micro. As for mods, maybe Lucid's Gem Generators and combat caster AI would be a tiny bit less micro.

Nothing like ending your weekend with your birthday and your favorite streamers is streaming. I definitely enjoyed this gift mate!
Happy birthday again!

Interesting. I never have used mending bones outside of undead factions. Got an example build you could post?

5:13:34 I would gift of flight as an option.
Flight and ethereal are very good in siege fights.
@@BabelBuilder funny as Fire giants have enough air for the spell. The ai just doesn’t think to use it.

Don't threaten me with a good time!

3:31 "Distil Gold" is fine and dandy, but not once you unlocked "Transmute Fire"...
Now that's hot!

Might add curse of stones to rigor mortis. You can probably reach the anti-armor magic from earth too.

Corpse stitcher gives a message saying how many were healed, only works on corporeal undead, so not spiritforms
To clarify: this would also not work on "half dead/demon" units correct?
LEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTSSSSSSSSSSSS go my favorite nation and the first one i ever got anywhere with
Dom6 was pretty kind to Abyssia too. Great starter nation!
Ohhhh Rex gaining godhood - what could go wrong
I guess at least nuking the command core with fire shouldn't matter now :D

A lot of new players dont know this but you can save and copy mage scripts… having some premade scripts ready can simplify things a fair bit
I'd say having scrips saved it vital to sanity!
R'leyh doesn't want you to know this one weird trick!
