Very good interview and loving the fancy new two camera set up! Production values always improving. Congratulations to everyone in the event too. Incredible performances all round.
@@aristodiga82 By that logic, if the Edge+ is suitable for both types of runners, that in turn means the original Sky V1 was suitable for both types of running thereby negating Asics's original Stride Vs. Cadence marketing speak.
I find it weird that Mo Katir basically asics fastst athlete is using the sky plus cause he speeds up his cadence more than stride lemght he really just tries to stay really light on his legs for trainings
Check out the most recent Mo Katir workout video on Sweat Elite. He wears the Edge+. So perhaps he's recognised that it suits his style of running more.
For the vast majority of runners, its gonna come down to drop and firmness/softness preferences...otherwise, Unless you're in the 1% of elite runners, there probably is not a statistically significant difference in perform between the edge and sky.
As a triathlete I do preger Edge+. My legs after the bike just need the 8mm drop, better stability and faster cadence given by the Edge+.

Very good interview Alex :)
Thanks a lot, John.
Interesting, that's the second person who said the edge v2 feels like sky v1.
Was the first Kristian Blummenfelt in my interview with him or someone else you know?
Believe in the run said it as well.
So this contradicts the cadence Vs stride runner suggestion, the new 'cadence' shoe is similar to the previous 'stride' shoe
@@leonal2680 Or maybe.. this makes the edge+ actually suitable for both types of runners?

Are both Sky+ and Edge+ width the same? I feel Sky+ lack a little of arch support?
Nice vid.
Thanks Radoslav!

You mean he should go for the Edge+?

It's nevertheless cool imho that Asics offers two options!
