All the Go Pro laps we all got to take with you were wonderful and anyone who has ridden much at all knows how quick things can go from great to terrible. Bright side you were able to witness some BADASS racing and again the footage you took was some of the Best.

Sorry for the rough weekend MattyB. Concussions aren't to be messed with. Got my most recent one at Meadow Valley (Minnesota) last fall. Bell rung hard. Was in a daze for a few minutes - knew I was at Meadow Valley but didn't know how I got there. I was by myself. Packed it in fast and headed home. Scared me. Hadn't had one since 2000. Never told my wife or that might have been it for sewing dirt bike wild oats again in my 50s.
Hey Bud...so glad you chose to sit out racing...head injuries are no joke and can have long lasting effects...time to recover, rest and relax...then start the work for next year's program a little more early...was a fun ride to watch this year, but also tough to see the struggle...better things are coming. 😁👍

Man I was standing right there when that happened. That was a nasty get off! You laid down a heater right after! I rode practice on Friday and amateur day Sunday that section was tough.
That looks like great dirt...the upclose view showed zero rocks I can smell the bike and dirt in your vid! Had a crash at Broome Tioga...got up like you and did a 159.06 best ever there....but it felt like a dream I was above my self watching..

I can completely relate to your get off crash ,had the same identical crash 3 turns into a 1rst moto that I hole shotted for once with 42 riders on the gate , couldn't believe that I was leading then OVER THE BARS I went lol 😂 as the saying goes 😳💩HAPPENS Recharge those batteries in the off season and come back swinging for 2024 💪😎🤙

I just had a pretty big one in april. Hit a 65ft table top at adk mx and endowed tf out of it forgot to rev bomb and landed in a mud pile at the bottom of the landing. Front end washed and fell right onto my head knocked out for like 15 seconds. I came to and had no clue where i was for 10 minutes it felt like i was waking up into a dream and feeling so out of body but slowly coming back. Took a few months to come back but doing sm better and still riding. It goes away after a while but sometimes you get post concussion syndrome if you dont take enough time off. Matt B man please get some lions mane either the mushroom or the powder. It helps treat/cure the concussion symptoms mix the powder in water or a protien shake and it restores you bdnf in your brain. Good luck to everyone who goes through it. Motocross is so fkn extreme take the time to know every inch of the track. unless you`re a slave to the ama and dont have that privilege.
Oof...brought me back to a crash I had at RedBud, knocked me the fk out and it was my last race on an mx track. Hope you fare better Matt, fyi I never regretted stopping mx. I moved on to enduro/hare scrambles and found them much more fun
Your laps after the crash looked pretty good. That crash looked like something out of mario kart when someone hits an explosive device, yikes. Even with a nasty knock to the noggin, you almost got in. Keep your head up and keep grinding. Next up, arena crash!!!!

Sucks to see the crash Matty, I almost commented on your last video after watching you send it first practice I was going to throw out the idea of basically cruising around learning the track properly and essentially forfeiting your first practice session for the benefit of learning the track properly and putting down a fast lap 2nd practice? Obviously this won’t work if the tracks at its fastest during 1st practice but hey if your open to trying new things 🤷🏽♂️ me personally I can’t put down a confident heater til I’ve spun 3-4 laps and if I do pin it 2nd lap I feel extremely unsafe
Yea I wish I could play it safe like that but sometimes first practice is faster! That’s the first time it’s ever bit me like that I’ll have to be careful in the future!

I just had a pretty big one in april. Hit a 65ft table top at adk mx and endowed tf out of it forgot to rev bomb and landed in a mud pile at the bottom of the landing. Front end washed and fell right onto my head knocked out for like 15 seconds. I came to and had no clue where i was for 10 minutes it felt like i was waking up into a dream and feeling so out of body but slowly coming back. Took a few months to come back but doing sm better and still riding. It goes away after a while but sometimes you get post concussion syndrome if you dont take enough time off. Matt B man please get some lions mane either the mushroom or the powder. It helps treat/cure the concussion symptoms mix the powder in water or a protien shake and it restores you bdnf in your brain. Good luck to everyone who goes through it. Motocross is so fkn extreme take the time to know every inch of the track. unless you`re a slave to the ama and dont have that privilege.

Oof...brought me back to a crash I had at RedBud, knocked me the fk out and it was my last race on an mx track. Hope you fare better Matt, fyi I never regretted stopping mx. I moved on to enduro/hare scrambles and found them much more fun

Your laps after the crash looked pretty good. That crash looked like something out of mario kart when someone hits an explosive device, yikes. Even with a nasty knock to the noggin, you almost got in. Keep your head up and keep grinding. Next up, arena crash!!!!

Sucks to see the crash Matty, I almost commented on your last video after watching you send it first practice I was going to throw out the idea of basically cruising around learning the track properly and essentially forfeiting your first practice session for the benefit of learning the track properly and putting down a fast lap 2nd practice? Obviously this won’t work if the tracks at its fastest during 1st practice but hey if your open to trying new things 🤷🏽♂️ me personally I can’t put down a confident heater til I’ve spun 3-4 laps and if I do pin it 2nd lap I feel extremely unsafe
Yea I wish I could play it safe like that but sometimes first practice is faster! That’s the first time it’s ever bit me like that I’ll have to be careful in the future!
