This press conference and the tiny instruments were absolutely hilarious. Thanks to the band for a giving me and my friends a fantastic night!

Yup, this "press conference" was absolutely hysterical in person! 🤣 Cory is a brilliant showman, even when it comes to non-musical elements of the show! 👍 If these guys are playing anywhere within several hours of your home, you *must* go see them!

Cory's my favorite player and one of the few that's a coach too.
I saw them last night at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. I’ve seen a lot of shows and this is the first one in which I had the feeling that I did NOT pay enough to see these musicians kill it on stage. I’m not even sure how they are having so much fun and at the same time lifting musicianship up to a level that impressed the entire audience. There were young guitar players, families, and older folks like me absolutely loving the show. I read another comment that the person was contemplating getting on a plane and seeing them again…me too. I left the show with more energy than I have felt in a while. Highly recommend them live. I even bought a shirt!

Saw Cory last night at the Beacon Theatre in NYC and had to relive this amazing improv moment! For the last question, a kid asked Cory if he could join his band and Cory invited him on stage and let him play on his Strat for Dean Town. What a memorable night for everyone.
the smooth transition from wireless to wired at the beginning of the show went crazy. A real magical moment. Also, I second the motion, come to Vancouver!
Saw the Seattle show and it was one of the most entertaining, fun shows I've seen! Having Sierra Hull (who I wasn't familiar with) was an unexpected treat. Another example of a "fusion" of styles (Bluegrass and Funk? Whoda thunk?) that killed. Horn section...killed. Comedy...yes! Ok, now here's my only "rant" as an older guy who loves live shows and values great sound. Cory, I hope you're reading this. The kick drum was way too loud to the point of distortion much of the show. The material on my sleeve was actually fluttering. Unlike other shows where the sound guy jacked most or all instruments to the point of distortion, the kick drum didn't diminish how great the horns were mixed and sounded. Please, for the sake of your audience's long term hearing, turn down any instrument that is so loud that it either distorts or diminishes the quality of the overall mix. Doesn't have to be quiet, doesn't not have to have some punch. Just a listenable, clean mix to hear each instrument distinctly. Your music and musicianship deserve great sound!

I think that's Sonny T's battle. Even a high-powered organization like the Wongnotes has a limited Washington lobbying budget. I'd rather Cory go after the evil CEO of Squeezify and the commodification of artisanal lemon juice!

Edit: so that guy is Jake Motts next to Cory. I think the bari sax player in Vermont was someone else, but it’s possible it’s the same guy

@@iamthemoneyj It was definitely a loud show. I worked my way up to the stage and listened to a couple songs with my hand basically on a subwoofer haha. Then I moved up front to the middle so I could yell the bassline to Dean Town as close as I could to Cory. Great show.
@@emmarossignol4445 yeah dude, I was right in the front row. The keyboards were so loud they sounded like they were out of tune. Not blaming Cory though, every concert is super loud
