I love how she said to her daughter, "when you have a trophy, not if you have a trophy it'll go up in the room". Positive reinforcement in young children is so important.
One of the most interesting things is Shonda’s usage of “her face is facing the camera, her face is turned away from the camera” sort of comment because its not a photograph but she sees it from the tv perspective versus the painting viewpoint

I love how passionate Shonda is about her "room"/library. It's so nice to hear her speak about her own taste instead of what some designer told her would be best for her. When you are truly comfortable with your own personal style it shines. Her library looks very welcoming.

Oh dang, I should've checked the description box. I was just getting into it when it started to close out. I loved how she shared such an intricate origin story to so many of the pieces that made up the room. Was looking forward to a while house tour.

I love that her writing space isn’t a traditional office space. It just a comfortable room filled with her favorite things where she likes to write and not an oppressive office with a desk and a chair and a lamp.
