(For those of you who do not know I will tell u who he is but beware manga spoilers)
So in the prequel vigilantes Aizawa was friends with shirakumo when he was in UA as a student.
But Shirikumo got nomified and became part of Kurogiri, (after high school) maybe he can get out tho! Kurogiri got captured in the anime but later in the manga Aizawa visits him in jail and we find out that shirakumo is Kurogiri!
