    Going this Saturday again if it doesn’t rain always my favorite time to fossil hunt when the water is down and the many snakes are gone

    Post Oak Creek looks so cold and barren in winter, me and my son usually go during summer when everything is green and steamy down there. Ready to get back down there and comb the gravel for Ptychodus teeth again

    Another nice trip! I've never been to POC; I guess I should make the trip sometime, but I'm just such an arrowhead guy the teeth don't have as much appeal for me.

      There's also arrowheads in POC I've seen quite a few come out this of that creek lately

    Awesome Video, I’ve never found a shark’s tooth, we don’t have them here in North Georgia , I did find a horse tooth and what may be a piece of a tusk last year though, I haven’t been to Florida or seen the ocean in 23 years but if I ever make it back I’m definitely looking for fossils, I’m not sure what a tylosor? Is, I’m sure I misspelled that but that was really cool, congratulations Norm, always good times treasure hunting with the family, Thanks For Sharing, Happy New Year, GL&HH 👊🏹

      Tylosaurus is a large variety of Mosasaur. A very large Cretaceous carnivore that lived in the Western Interior Seaway 80+ Million years ago. Referred to the TRex of the Cretaceous seas

      For sure do a road trip to NC or SC beach. While my son was in USMC Jacksonville NC I did a road trip to see him. He took me to the beach not far from Camp Lejeune and I found Shark teeth there. Had a blast! Hope you go!!

    Could the first one be a mosasaur pterygoid tooth?

      I have one from there that looks very similar, just slightly smaller.

    is there different places to enter post oak creek or just the one in sherman. trying to take the kiddo this weekend

    • @TheAdventurousCouple
      @TheAdventurousCouple 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The only entrance I know is that one, I have heard there was a few other entry points but they're pretty sketchy, thru lots of brush or steep hill incline
