ECHS has changed the rules regarding the annual renewal/verification of smart cards for dependents and parents over the age of 18. The documents required for annual verification have changed.
Below are the detailed information released by the central organization ECHS in Delhi Cantt.

ANNUAL VAUDATION OF ECHS MEMBERSHIP OF DEPENDENTS BY SUBMISSION OF LIFE CERTIFICATE AND ELIGIBILITY DOCUMENTS BY PRIMARY BENEFICIARIES
1. Please refer the following.-
(a) Central Organisation ECHS letter No B/49711-NSC/AG/ECHS/Gen Corr dt 06 Jul 2022.
(b) Central Organisation ECHS letter No B/49711-NSC/AG/ECHS/Gen Corr dt 26 Oct 2022.
(c) Central Organisation ECHS letter No 8/49711-NSC/AG/ECHS/Gen Corr dt 27 Dec 2022.
(d) Central Organisation ECHS letter No B149711-NSC/AG/ECHS/Gen Corr dt 01 Mar 2023.
(e) Central Organisation ECHS letter No B149711-NSC/AG/ECHS/Gen Corr dt 13 Jul 2023.
(g) Central Organisation ECHS letter No B/49711-NSC/AG/ECHS/Gen Corr dt 16 Jan 2024.
Recently, a case had come to light wherein a beneficiary was reluctant in submitting / uploading his father’s Form 26AS and was insisting on submitting ITR V in its place by quoting concerned paragraphs of Annual Validation Policy. This was because he probably wanted to hide the non-taxable income being received/ deposited in his father’s account.
The option of submitting Form 26AS or ITR V as proof of income was initially given to assist in smooth implementation of Annual Validation Policy. Now that the policy has matured, the option is being revoked to prevent misuse.
Henceforth, only Form 26 AS will be accepted as proof of income for beneficiaries holding PAN Card. For beneficiaries not holding PAN Card there is no change in the policy. Fwg amendment is to be made in para 6 (b) (iii) of letter No B/49711-NSC/AG/ECHS/Gen Corr dt 06 Jul 2022:-
For
(iii) In case PAN Card is available for the chosen dependent, then any one of the following documents will be uploaded:-
(aa) Form 26 AS for preceding two consecutive financial years.
(ab) ITR V (Income Tax Return Verification or the Acknowledgement) of preceding two consecutive financial years.

सेना का नाम बदलकर अधिकारी वर्ग रख दिया जाय तो सारी कि सारी समस्या का समाधान हो सकता है, केवल अधिकारी वर्ग ही रह जायेंगे तो सरकार को कोई तकलीफ़ नहीं होगी,ओ आर ओ पी,एम एस पी और पे फैक्टर में दिक्कतें नहीं होगी, क्योंकि भूतपूर्व जेसीओ और जवान रहेंगे ही नहीं, सरकार अधिकारी वर्ग को सब कुछ देती रहेगी,
ये ECHS केवल रिटायर ऑफिसर को नौकरी देने के लिये ऑफिसर ने लाया है,

Echs mai mere bhai service sirf Officer hi nahi baki rank k exman b karte hai. Yes, is se better hai ki treatment MH se hi ho, jis se govt ka kharcha reduce hoga.

अन्त में सिर्फ़ चमचे काम आते है,, बाकी बर्तन से ही खाना बनता है लेकिन वो तो सिर्फ़ गैस पे जलने के लीये है।
ECHS band Karo, as it is meant for Retd Officers least bothering for JCOs/ORs and families. Whatever it be only Retd Officers and their dependents are fully enjoying the ECHS facilities all over India.

Gender inequality in ECHS treatment for dependent
A) Sons 24 years .. Good bye for life
B) Unmarried daughter gets life time dependent card
C) Married and then widow/ divorcee gets again dependent card for life
On one side SC has pressed on for gender equality & AF have implemented
But
Via a violation of fundamental law of dependent treatment for sons of ESM
Echs should be abolished medical allowance should be increased and give to beneficiary

Mere father echs card member hai.Hum kiims hospital me father ka treatment and admitted.surgical items like gloves,syringe, cotton,microspore, urine bags etc payment se lane ko kahate hai.bol te hain ye cover nahin hai.kya ye saab hum reamasement hoga .kripya help kijiye.
