Untold Story of my fight with King Sunny Ade over Orisabunmi--Aworo

- High Chief Jimoh Aliu (MFR) the one famously known as AWORO is an iconic Nigerian dramatist, sculptor, film writer, playwright and director.
The Oke-Imesi, Ekiti State (South Western Nigeria) born thespian who clocked 84 last Sunday November 11, 2018 has finally broken his silence over an alleged feud between him and his childhood friend, King Sunny Ade (KSA) which was said to have been sired by an alleged dalliance between the later and Aworo's ex-wife, Orisabunmi in 1991.
In this historic encounter with Asabe Afrika TV inside his Lagos Hotel suite, during a return trip from Europe, Aworo answered questions regarding the alleged break of friendship which many in the industry equally said was responsible for King Sunny Ade's infamous illness of 1992-1995 when he was alleged to have suffered paralysis.
According to yet unconfirmed rumor, King Sunny Ade who was a lead actor in Chief Jimoh Aliu's famous epic, FOPOMOYO was alleged to have had a secret behind-the-stage romance with the very beautiful and charming Orisabunmi, a romance that later got to the hearing of her husband and then, a war, between the two old friends.
It appears the flame of the controversial fight between Aworo and KSA is yet to die down as a recent video revealed.
Inside the video obtained by Asabe Afrika TV, Aworo who stormed an event where KSA was performing had stormed the stage to spray the Juju Music legend some cash but KSA knowing fully well that Aworo was spraying him, not only ignored him but equally sang praises of other guests leaving Aworo to dance away looking idle.
To show that he was sure of his acts, another veteran actor, Chief Lere Paimo (Eda Onile-Ola) had stormed the stage shortly after Aworo left, and the King of Juju Music threw all praises and acrobatic dance steps toward him, celebrating him with rapid attention.
On two instances we asked him questions about the 27 years old feud between him and KSA and what he told us will shock you!

I really love Chief Jimoh Aliu with the way he answered all these questions with wisdom and that shows how knowledgeable he was. People have to understand, Asabe has never claimed to be a journalist. Asabe is a pro in making you visit this channel. And, that's remarkable, we can't be the best in everything. Sometimes I think the guy is a troublemaker, sometimes I think he's an amateur, sometimes I think he's just a hustler.
The reporter has a right to ask any questions on rumors going on about the man .The onus is on the man to answer or skip the question. The reporter is a professional.

I have known Chief Jimph Aliu for over thirty years in those days in Akure ,his younger brother happened to be my father's junior in Min of Works Akure,he used to bring Jimoh Aliu to House being opposite NTA Akure,orisabunmi lived the same neighborhood with us at Oba Ile. Chief jimoh Aliu was not like that
Can i advise you on something my friend, most of the people you interviewed we dont seems to hear what they say, and the solution is that you do not attached microphone to there clothes. you needed to attached a mini microphones to their clothes and that will give your viewers a good sound of those people been interviewed. you can see how to make a good quality videos on TH-cam for a reference.

Mr. Interviewer. thanks for the video but you need to improve in a lot of way. First, on the video and audio production. Secondly, on your interview techniques. If you continue the way you are now, many dignitaries will not give you audience to interview them. I just finished watching this video and see the unprofessionalism of this reporter. Asabe should go back to school and learn how to interview people. All what Baba Aworo wanted now is peace between all parties involved, Asabe should know how to let go in an interview. To me it seems he wanted to bring/ create another war between Aworo and King Sunny Ade. You wanted him to say "Yes Sunny Ade had an affairs with Orisa Bunmi and he used juju on him, then you will wake up a sleeping dog, and the entire Lagos will be in uproar again. Try and be sensible, leave the issue and agree with what Baba Aworo has said.

Chief Jimoh and King Sunny Ade are our role models. Whatever the disagreement between them they have thought us how to live a good life by putting our differences behind us. If we adopt their leadership style we will live in this world according to the will of God.

First, that video seems to be old to me. Mr. Matthew Olojede has stopped being a vocalist on KSA's band for a while unless if he still makes special appearances. While I enjoy your video, I think you owe your fans a professional duty to do more research than just a 20 min video. The first video was suddenly stopped with no explanation. You are creating my questions than answers.
Yes the video is fairly old. The part showing KSA performing was shot between November 2012 and April 2013. Somebody first published a clip of Eda dancing with KSA in April 2013. Also KSA sang about EDA being 73 - Eda turned 73 in Nov 2012.
